This is insane
Holy shit. Is porn just over in my state? How do I access porn without traveling over state lines?

VPN?

What state are you in, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | July 11, 2025 4:06 AM |
OP, can't you get a VPN and connect via a blue state location?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 11, 2025 4:06 AM |
Georgia

Link please, r3

If VPN works in your case, I highly recommend NordVPN.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 11, 2025 4:10 AM |
Isn't it just age verification? Are you a minor, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 11, 2025 4:16 AM |
A couple of years ago, my state government said that the online porn retailers had to verify the age of users. They only had a week or so to get everything in order by the deadline. Instead of rolling out some age verification tool, they instead just made their site unavailable to anyone in the state. When you went to the site, there was a video of a woman explaining why the website no longer worked for residents of the state.
The worst part: they didn't wait until the deadline to do it. They shut it down a few days early. A few folks had been looking forward to one last hurrah over the weekend. But the site shut down before the weekend. The boundaries were pretty accurate too. I live about 300 feet from the state line, but it could tell which state I was in.
You can find a lot of clips on Reddit.

Do most people seriously not know you can just use a VPN? It's really very easy to get around this.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 11, 2025 4:30 AM |
I live in a stupid red state that’s doing this porn blocking thing, but I haven’t been too bothered by not being able to use Porn Hub or sites like that. But as of yesterday, I can no longer access the LPSG web forum, where I got most of my porn. They don’t have an option to verify age (which I wouldn’t have done anyway), they just say as a resident of my state, I no longer have access. WTF??
I guess I’m going to have to figure out how to use a VPN.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 11, 2025 1:16 PM |
R11, it’s extremely easy. Just gotta be willing to pay the $$.
I recommended NordVPN above.. here’s a YouTube if you need a little hand holding.

I've seen that message, too, r11. I think they say that they set up an age verification system for most states with new law except GA. For Georgia they cannot even do that because it's too complicated. An age-check in Georgia apparently involves biometric checks or third-party identity verification.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 11, 2025 1:38 PM |
I was wondering why these laws are now coming out of the woodwork and not ten or twenty years ago. I'm guessing because Republican lawmakers finally found out that there is a technical way around their own legislation. You know, who wants to prohibit something that they would actually have to adhere to themselves?

Age verification is a small burden compared to the benefit of protecting children.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 11, 2025 1:53 PM |
R16 Eh I think it's up to parents to stop their children accessing content they shouldn't be allowed to.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 11, 2025 2:28 PM |
The kids are too smart r17. They know how to get around it and have fake Instagram profiles for their parents.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 17, 2025 12:41 AM |
I'm in GA right now visiting the parents and have no issue accessing LPSG.
Doesn't appear to be true, r14
Here's what they said:
Users in the following countries will need to verify their age: United Kingdom
France
Germany
Users in the following U.S. states will need to verify their age: Alabama
Arkansas
Florida
Georgia
Idaho
Indiana
Kentucky
Louisiana
Mississippi
Montana
Nebraska
North Carolina
North Dakota
Oklahoma
South Carolina
South Dakota
Texas
Utah
Virginia
Wyoming
Users in Kansas and Tennessee will be blocked from accessing LPSG.
Unfortunately, their laws do not allow us to offer a compliant solution.
And for anyone looking for a VPN, ProtonVPN is good and it has a free tier.

That's what you get for living in a shitty red state.
Serves you right!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 17, 2025 12:53 AM |
R21 I can't help it. I'm too poor to move and too old to sell my ass for cash.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 17, 2025 12:58 AM |
I carry my Roku stick all around the world, I plug it into an open HDMI port on the TV, and I'm able to access porn via the hotel Wi-Fi and my phone with Apple Play. I just cast it to the TV via all the porn sites. Also Netflix and all my streaming channel subscriptions. What am I doing wrong? Will I get a knock on the door in the middle of the night by the local SWAT team?

In Flyoverstan, all you need to do is connect to home WiFi versus cell data.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 17, 2025 1:45 AM |
For those of you in red states has Twitter/X done anything to block porn on that platform? When I'm signed in to Twitter there's almost no limit to the porn clips you can find but I am in a blue state
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 17, 2025 2:03 AM |
Heh! MAGA in red states must be mad as hell about this. They certainly aren’t getting their fat asses off their stinky couches to have sec with a real person. Porn is all they got.
But they can’t complain about it because they’d be admitting they need porn. Sorry you’re caught in the crossfire, OP, but I think it’s hilarious.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 17, 2025 2:46 AM |
The Meese Commission determined porn was an outlet and prevented a lot of rapes. That shits about to skyrocket. Probably mass shootings and road rage too

**For those of us in red states or just looking for a little privacy when browsing adult content, here are the best *free* VPNs that don’t sell your soul or cap you after five minutes:**
**1. Proton VPN Free** – Unlimited data – Based in Switzerland (great privacy laws) – No ads, no logging, no bullshit – Speeds are fine for videos, but you can’t pick exact servers
**2. PrivadoVPN Free** – 10GB/month – Fast enough for streaming – No logs, decent security – Good if you want a little more control and don’t watch daily
**3. Windscribe Free** – 10 to 15GB/month depending on setup – Works on multiple devices – Has servers that help get around regional blocks – Nice for when you need a little extra stealth
**Avoid:** – *Hotspot Shield*: ad-heavy, sketchy privacy – *TunnelBear*: cute but useless — only 2GB/month
**TL;DR:** – **Best overall:** Proton VPN Free (unlimited + no-logs) – **Best for streaming:** PrivadoVPN Free – **Best for multiple devices:** Windscribe Free
All legal in the U.S., even in red states. Just don’t forget: free VPNs are limited, so don’t expect 4K gangbangs without hiccups. If you need more, splurge on a real one like Surfshark or Nord.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 17, 2025 1:57 PM |
And by *splurge*, I mean cough up like **$2 to $4 a month** — not exactly caviar and cocaine money.
Most paid VPNs run dirt cheap if you do a multi-year plan. Some even offer 30-day money-back guarantees, so you can binge in peace and ghost them before the billing cycle.
A few worth the tiny coin: – **Surfshark** – unlimited devices, fast, and often under $2/month – **NordVPN** – strong privacy, fast servers, lots of locations – **Mullvad** – pay anonymously, no email needed, old-school privacy nerd fave
So yeah, *splurge* in the same way you'd "splurge" on a Costco-sized bottle of lube. Worth it.

Using VPNs for Sniffies and Other GPS-Based Hookup Apps
If you’re using Sniffies, Grindr, Scruff, or anything that shows you on a map, just changing your IP with a free VPN won’t cut it — these apps use GPS, not just your IP address.
Here’s what works:
Surfshark (Paid)
* Has built-in GPS override on Android * Lets you fake your actual location, not just your IP * Easy to use, and yes, you can set your location to a park, truck stop, or hotel across town * Costs around 2 dollars a month if you get a long plan
NordVPN plus Fake GPS app (Android)
* Use NordVPN for IP protection * Pair with a Fake GPS Location app from the Play Store * Requires turning on Developer Mode on your phone * Works well but takes a few setup steps
iPhone Users
* Apple does not make GPS spoofing easy * You’ll need a paid VPN and a desktop app like iTools or Tenorshare iAnyGo * Or jailbreak your phone, which mos Free VPNs
* They only hide your IP * Your GPS still shows your real location * So no, you won’t magically appear 30 miles away on Sniffies
Summary
* For basic privacy while watching porn: free VPN is fine * For GPS-based apps like Sniffies: use Surfshark or NordVPN plus a GPS spoofing app * iPhone users have the hardest setup
Let me know if you want the step-by-step for Android.
