I'm reminded of this video from a decade ago.

"Chase Hunter" sounds like a porn name. Good thing he looks the part.

by Anonymousreply 4July 10, 2025 3:10 PM

The deer saw what the whales were doing and thought it would try the equivalent.

by Anonymousreply 5July 10, 2025 3:12 PM

Has a good heart, but not hot. Neither of them.

by Anonymousreply 6July 10, 2025 3:16 PM

Sweet and brave although somewhat reckless. I'd imagine a panicked deer could do a lot of damage.

I was at the beach once when a deer was in the water, out somewhat far. A rescue boat then went out to capture it, and chased it back and forth along the length of the harbor where this beach is. The poor dear, er, deer, was all worn out when they finally captured it with a net and brought it on the boat. So I guess deer do this.

Well, that was nice of them. Deer CAN swim, though. I live in the Bay Area, and they are known to swim from the mainland to Angel Island and back.

That deer clearly wasn't one of the sharpest tools in the shed - it looked young and obviously didn't fathom the risks that the ocean holds.

Either that, or it was a Gen Z deer, overcome with the stress, trials and tribulations of today's deer society and it was trying to commit suicide.

Oh deer!

by Anonymousreply 10July 10, 2025 3:23 PM

I just wanted to go swimming, bitch!

Leave me alone

[quote] A rescue boat

Was it a rescue boat?

by Anonymousreply 12July 10, 2025 3:34 PM

R12 It was a police boat.

by Anonymousreply 13July 10, 2025 3:42 PM

He saved the thing but now it's gonna step out into traffic and kill a family of four. Let nature play out. Everyone has to be a hero for clicks and likes.

by Anonymousreply 14July 10, 2025 3:49 PM

The deer: “I’ll do it again. I’ll do it again!”

He did it for the lolz!

by Anonymousreply 16July 10, 2025 4:03 PM

You see, Mr. Hunter? In the water I’m a very skinny deer.

That's because it IS.
