I feel this way about "The Knick" with Clive Owen and Andre Holland.

I'd have watched anything with Clive Owen. That must have hurt.

I'd watch anything with François Arnaud in it, had no idea he was in The Borgias. Unfortunately, I just can't bring myself to watch it, I know too much about those Borghese cunts and I hate nepotism more than anything.
As for OP's question, Zaslav cancelling Raised by Wolves after two seasons still hurts like hell, few shows have captured my imagination like that one. It was apparently between this and Our Flag Means Death and he decided to give one more season to Taika and axed Wolves instead. And the worst part is, he then removed it from all the platforms, like it had never even existed in the first place.
Also, Dead Boys Detectives most recently, Netflix cut it after one season and I got way too attached to it. Similarly, Deadly Class some time ago. Handsome faggy boys in both.

I’ve given up on a lot of TV because even the “acclaimed” shows (Severance, The Bear, Adolescence) are phony and boring.

I think it's a combination of the lack of talent these days in the industry, and the fact that so many younger TV viewers now have such limited attention spans and get bored really fast.

R3, François plays Cesarè, and another hottie plays his brother.

I got hooked on Marie Antoinette and read that the show was guaranteed three seasons to tell the whole story. Well, now it seems it's not coming back for a third season and the series ended just as things were getting juicy. And, yes, I know how it ends.

Agree, OP. I'm kinda done with most TV, to be honest. Broadcast sucks because it's all tragedy porn or cop/fire/law enforcement porn, and anything unique or different dies after one or two seasons on streaming.
I know some of it is economics and the strike hurt a lot of shows, but there isn't much left to watch.

The Serpent Queen was canceled on Starz, it was the only show on that service worth watching. It wasn’t the greatest, but Samantha Morton was always worth watching.

I mostly watch YouTube. Investing 10 hours or more into a show these days feels like a waste of time.

Netflix dropped "Babylon Berlin" after three seasons. I read that MhZ Choice picked it up, so I subscribed to that streaming service. It's good, if you like foreign fare and subtitles. It's a great way to keep up and improve your language skills. I've gotten into the "Tatort" franchise, the German inspiration for "Law and Order." And I started watching "Hostages," an Israeli series, that inspired an American show. MhZ is dropping that soon. I'm hurrying to finish the second season. The lead actor is hot.
PBS Passport is good too. There's a cop show set in the French Alps..."Mountain Detective." It's "Alex Hugo" in France. Its lead is a very hot Daddy.
I cut cable. Only stream nowadays.

If anything, tv shows are less likely to get canceled right away than in the past. Back in the day the big three networks would cancel a show after just a few episodes if it was dragging down the rest of the lineup

Let's put it this way: I've been binge watching ER, and I'll continue up until the season Mark dies.
