Haiti is pretty much a dumpster fire, right?

This is the one time sending in US Marines would be a good thing.

This seemingly endless barrage of tragedies in Haiti - the corruption, the poverty, the violence, the virtual collapse of civil society, the takeover of the country by gangs, the horrific earthquakes and hurricanes - is heartbreaking.

What would it take to create enduring security and stability in Haiti?

Shouldn’t countries who bear at least some responsibility for this disintegration (i.e., France and the U.S.) step in to reset? Why couldn’t something like the Marshall Plan work for Haiti?

Um, Haiti is what happens when blacks are left in charge.

Hence why Sub-Saharan Africans were still living as prehistoric hunter-gatherers when Europeans starting coming around in the 15th century.

The 1967 film of "The Comedians" had to be filmed in Dahomey and France because Haiti was deemed unsafe. Sadly, it still is.
