many years ago, (20?) I read what I like to call an airport novel. I love mysteries and thrillers and this was a really good one. It was about a male ballet dancer in a very famous balket company. He wastheir star and they toured all over, and he was secretly a serial killer and no one was able to figure it out.
Please help me find this book.....

^^^ Sorry, Death Dancer by Tara Lain was first published in November 2016 (just over 8 years ago, not 20, as OP mentioned).
But you might still enjoy it.

R4 this comes closest t o the one I was thinking about. Thanks. I will check it out. As I recall, mine may have had a Russian dancer and a British Detective. I think. And he didn't just kill other dancers. He killed random people.

This is probably not the novel you're trying to find, but there are some similarities to the plot you describe. "Ballet!" by Tom Murphy (1978).
