It’s a hard challenge to try to find something hopeful in this, but recent polling suggests that a strong majority of Americans says “I disapprove” when asked whether they approve or disapprove of the more extreme pieces of Trump’s ICE/deportation activity. Here’s one poll from Pew, and there are a few others.

The Trump regime doesn't care if the public disapproves of what they're doing R2. They're going to do it while they've still got full control and deal with the outfall later.
