Is it a deal breaker for you?

It depends. Is the mattress on the floor?

I wouldn't even notice.

Definitely, speaks of low-breeding

I find it annoying. Stayed at an air bnb once where the first floor bedroom windows, which opened onto a shared courtyard, just had sheer curtains tied into a knot. Zero privacy. Had to climb on a chair and "undo" them for the duration of our stay. Just stupid, and stupid looking. No idea who likes this or why.

Don't even like curtains in the theatre, so yes.

It looks a bit flop-housy. But looks good with ruffled broken plastic blinds.

That’s what you get when you won’t spend on puddly drapes and settle for JCPenney grommet vomit. Every one of you hated my puddly gray drapes and now you have to deal with this shit.
Also, if I see one more mcmansion with mismatched windows that can’t share size or character I will shit myself. Why waste window treatments on a schizophrenic house?

Yes. Or just a beach towel thrown over a curtain rod (or nailed)? You can buy any manner of decent curtains in a thrift store for under $10.00

Egad! It’s enough to make a Venetian blind!
