Cholesterol meds
Are you on a cholesterol med? What has your experience been?
My doc started me on Crestor, but my brain got foggy, I had reflux, and my muscles hurt. Then, my doc changed me to Lipitor, another statin. While better, the end is also making me a little foggy and make recovery from exercise take much longer.
What are you on? Did you also have to go through a number of meds to find the right one?

Take it at night before bed, the foggy, groggy effects should wear off after you’ve had some breakfast the next day.

The muscle pain is a side effect of statins. Lipitor can also cause diabetes. My father was on Lipitor, but it did not prevent his heart attack. It resulted in diabetes, but it was too late when they found it. Try to see if you can adjust your diet. My cholesterol was borderline due to diet. When I changed, my cholesterol became normal.

Reactions and side-effects are individual.
I'm on Lipitor (familial hypertriglyceridemia), starting about 20 years ago. I haven't had side effects that I've noticed. It can be hard, I'm sure, to separate the "normal" effects of aging from the mix over time.
I was on something else at first but switched because it wasn't effective, not from side effects.
