The young man had a side business (legally) transporting pets across the US-Mexico border. But on one fateful trip, he arrived in the Texas desert to find he was hired to transport not dogs or cats but human beings. He was threatened with arrest if he didn't mule the people deeper into Texas, so he complied with the coyote's demand. He was arrested while doing so, and his TSA security clearance was suspended due to the nature of the arrest. He alleged all along that he was duped into transporting illegal immigrants across Texas in his car.
He eventually got the case dismissed and his clearance restored, but soon after, the TSA suspended him again, making him ineligible to fly for work, travel on an airplane, or buy a gun. He's now suing the TSA, alleging economic hardship.
