Diddy Might Walk Away Scotch Free

They don’t have the votes.

He’s easily as beloved as the I Believe I Can Fly molester.

by Anonymousreply 1July 1, 2025 10:31 PM

What about Painter's Tape Free?

Or, you could go the other way...Rum Free.

Or Irish Free.

by Anonymousreply 2July 1, 2025 10:31 PM

Another OJ?

by Anonymousreply 3July 1, 2025 10:33 PM

Scotch free? Oh, dear...

Do OJ and scotch go well together, R3? I always use vodka...

by Anonymousreply 4July 1, 2025 10:34 PM

Whiskey or whisky free?

by Anonymousreply 5July 1, 2025 10:37 PM

Yeah, but the vodka will get him.

by Anonymousreply 6July 1, 2025 10:46 PM

This begs the question: will Diddy walk away tasking tape free?

by Anonymousreply 7July 1, 2025 10:47 PM

I'd prefer to walk away Tequila free.

by Anonymousreply 8July 1, 2025 10:49 PM

He certainly isn't baby oil free.

by Anonymousreply 9July 1, 2025 10:51 PM

They don’t have the votes? Huh?

No verdict today. Jurors sent back and will continue to deliberate in the morning.

by Anonymousreply 13July 1, 2025 11:03 PM

The longer they take the better it is for Combs, yes?

by Anonymousreply 14July 1, 2025 11:05 PM

Jesus H, if I never hear another word about baby oil for the rest of my natural life, it will be too soon.

by Anonymousreply 15July 1, 2025 11:05 PM

I hate the smell of baby oil.

by Anonymousreply 16July 1, 2025 11:10 PM

They have verdicts on four of the five counts. But they won't announce that until the fifth count is settled. So he could be guilty on the four, but possibly not-guilty on the fifth.

by Anonymousreply 17July 1, 2025 11:14 PM

Does "Scotch free" mean he'll don a kilt and do a little jig as he leaves the courthouse?

by Anonymousreply 18July 1, 2025 11:17 PM

"Scotch" free?!?

by Anonymousreply 19July 1, 2025 11:18 PM

Even if he’s convicted on some or all counts, these are all federal charges pardonable by the president. Our current so-called “president” loves the very rich and famous. And while he also detests anyone not white, it’s the rich and famous part in this defendant’s case that makes his blackness a mere inconvenience.

In other words: I’m afraid of a scenario where Diddy is convicted and then pardoned by the Fat Orange One. Hoping it won’t happen but won’t be surprised if it does.

by Anonymousreply 20July 1, 2025 11:20 PM

[quote]Diddy Might Walk Away Scotch Free

Or we could go Dutch.

by Anonymousreply 21July 1, 2025 11:21 PM

I hooked up with a guy who seemingly had a baby oil fetish. I’m left still triggered by the smell. He wanted to hook up again and I asked that the oil be scent free. He hung up on me.

by Anonymousreply 22July 1, 2025 11:25 PM

He'll get off. And he should.

by Anonymousreply 23July 1, 2025 11:25 PM

Hasn't he gotten off enough already??

by Anonymousreply 27July 1, 2025 11:40 PM

I don't care. I really don't. If he's convicted, Trump will pardon him. Either way, he'll never recover from this.

by Anonymousreply 28July 1, 2025 11:46 PM

Hey, he made a mistake.

by Anonymousreply 29July 1, 2025 11:49 PM

What exactly were the charges again?

It seemed to me a lot of people willing to do anything to get close to fame or hope to become famous.

"Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing five federal criminal charges: racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution."

Transportation to engage in prostitution? Seriously? The racketeering charge seems difficult to prove - and the sex trafficking, sounds related to the transportation charge.

I'm not defending him, but a lot of this seems a bit of overreach. People claiming they were drugged - how do you prove that?

by Anonymousreply 30July 1, 2025 11:54 PM

...Or at least martini-free.

by Anonymousreply 31July 1, 2025 11:56 PM

Hon, for the record, its "Scott Free"

by Anonymousreply 32July 2, 2025 12:01 AM

My guess is they've found him guilty on all the charges but the conspiracy. That's the most complicated one and even a lot of legal commentators have said it's questionable if it really applies here.

by Anonymousreply 33July 2, 2025 12:29 AM

Well, OP meant well, but shows how he is not too intelligent. But props for trying to play with the big boys here. Diddy will walk,

by Anonymousreply 34July 2, 2025 12:33 AM

I guess you shouldn't kick the shit out of your girlfriend in videotape.

by Anonymousreply 35July 2, 2025 12:36 AM

This... is a hi-tech lynching.

by Anonymousreply 36July 2, 2025 1:11 AM

R36. Oh Clarence, we know both you and Diddy are guilty. I just wish you had a BBC like the others.

by Anonymousreply 37July 2, 2025 1:14 AM

Quick invest in Johnson & Johnson

by Anonymousreply 38July 2, 2025 1:15 AM

Well, if he does walk off scott free, there's a good chance there's a scotch (or whatever) bottle waiting. Unless, he's getting alcohol on the inside somehow, his tolerance is down to zero. If he parties where he left off, he may very well have an Amy Winehouse experience.

by Anonymousreply 39July 2, 2025 1:18 AM

I think he will likely be more spice rum prisoned.

by Anonymousreply 46July 2, 2025 3:01 AM

OP Is that Scotch & Water Free or Scotch On The Rocks Free?

by Anonymousreply 47July 2, 2025 5:03 AM

Convict this criminal and hold him accountable.

by Anonymousreply 48July 2, 2025 5:18 AM

They are stuck on racketeering. That suggests they have found him guilty on at least some if not all of the underlying crimes. Otherwise, they’d have no reason not to also acquit on conspiracy.

by Anonymousreply 49July 2, 2025 5:36 AM

what's his sentence going to be like if he's guilty of everything but racketeering?

Scotch Rape

by Anonymousreply 54July 2, 2025 11:10 AM

AI Overview

The phrase "scot-free" originated from the Old English word "scot" which meant a payment or tax, and the suffix "-free" meaning exempt. Therefore, "scot-free" originally meant to be exempt from paying taxes or contributions. Over time, the meaning evolved to encompass avoiding any kind of punishment or penalty.

by Anonymousreply 55July 2, 2025 12:58 PM

Verdict reached.

by Anonymousreply 56July 2, 2025 2:23 PM

Guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution for 2 victims, not guilty on the rest

by Anonymousreply 57July 2, 2025 2:25 PM

If was an ill-conceived prosecution. He’s a scumbag, but the women’s motives were complicated and you can’t send a man to prison for life on the basis of at least partially consensual behavior.

by Anonymousreply 58July 2, 2025 2:28 PM

Scotch?

Oh, dear.

by Anonymousreply 59July 2, 2025 2:31 PM

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Found Not Guilty of Racketeering and Sex Trafficking

Music mogul convicted of less serious charges after trial in which he was accused of running a criminal enterprise and coercing women into sex parties

by Anonymousreply 60July 2, 2025 2:33 PM

R58 I think I agree. The fact that most of these people kept coming back despite horrible abuse and treatment makes it difficult to prove they were coerced. $$$

by Anonymousreply 61July 2, 2025 2:33 PM

Thanks, R55.

You did it so I didn't have to it.

by Anonymousreply 62July 2, 2025 2:34 PM

It ultimately was a classic he said she said case. The defense had the texts, which proved the women wanted to participate in the freak-offs.

by Anonymousreply 63July 2, 2025 2:35 PM

Huge miss for the Southern District of New York. RICO applies to the mob but how does it apply to a rich and famous rapper?

by Anonymousreply 64July 2, 2025 2:40 PM

[quote]R47 OP Is that Scotch & Water Free?

by Anonymousreply 66July 2, 2025 2:44 PM

by Anonymousreply 67July 2, 2025 2:52 PM

He’s rich. Trump will pardon him or commute his sentence.

by Anonymousreply 74July 2, 2025 3:18 PM

He'll be back on the streets in less than a year, if that.

by Anonymousreply 75July 2, 2025 3:21 PM

The media is all upset saying he got away with something because he has money. They don’t get the verdict they want so they have to go with the narrative that he is guilty.

by Anonymousreply 76July 2, 2025 3:23 PM

They did not prove RICO or trafficking. If you paid attention to the actual evidence the jury made the right decision based on the evidence.

He is trash but the evidence wasn't there for a lot of these charges.

by Anonymousreply 77July 2, 2025 3:26 PM

Slap on the wrist.

by Anonymousreply 78July 2, 2025 3:27 PM

It did seem the prosecution case was weak. I kept waiting for more evidence but it never came.

by Anonymousreply 79July 2, 2025 3:31 PM

What a mess. He was tried publicly for being bisexual, paying for sex, and liking to get freaky, in addition to the legitimate abuse and coercion shit. Most of the sexual stuff lived in people’s heads because humans get upset when others have sex they don’t like.

by Anonymousreply 80July 2, 2025 3:47 PM

He was guilty of beating the fuck out of Cassie and should rot for that alone.

But the prosecution had no charges for the serious charges levied. It was actually a bit shocking on their part.

by Anonymousreply 81July 2, 2025 3:56 PM

by Anonymousreply 93July 2, 2025 4:13 PM

This shows that Me-Too is over. Everyone could see that Cassie was willingly fucking him and for all the perks. It was totally consensual.

Same with the bitches who willingly fucked Weinstein for roles, then claimed rape a decade later.
