Maybe he can find a new beard now?
John Travolta took a trip to Mounjaro on the SS Ozempic

He looks good - sincerely.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | July 1, 2025 5:21 PM |
Nice of him to bring a party city wig though!
Has his “hair” looked good since 1996 though?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | July 1, 2025 5:26 PM |
Well he looks the best of the group.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 1, 2025 5:37 PM |
Oh, my God. The rug.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 1, 2025 5:48 PM |
He doeshn't look nachural like me.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 1, 2025 5:48 PM |
That ain't a cheap wig and it is obviously part of the Danny Zuko costume.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 1, 2025 5:52 PM |
He looks great. I have always liked John... gay, bi, in Perfect, Pulp Fiction or Grease-d up. He's awesome.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 1, 2025 5:56 PM |
He looks fantastic. He has always had great skin and he looks way better thin. He has a small frame and does not carry extra weight well.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 1, 2025 5:59 PM |
He was beautiful in Grease and SNF. He seems like a nice, albeit troubled and a bit dense man.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 1, 2025 7:00 PM |
zaddy
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 1, 2025 7:28 PM |
He’s always looked good to me. I hate the cult he’s in, but he has been in so many entertaining movies and seems like a decent person. Love his dancing too.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 1, 2025 7:43 PM |
He's prettier than Sandy--especially now.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 1, 2025 8:00 PM |
Travolta was much bigger than any male movie star today. His run of Saturday Night Fever, Grease and Urban Cowboy was unparalleled. It's a big thing to have one movie that turns into a cultural phenomenon, but Travolta had 3! And that was after his iconic role in Welcome Back, Kotter.
I'm not sure why he let it all slip away. Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks was able to hold onto their stardom for far longer.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 1, 2025 8:14 PM |
It's not like it slipped away forever, R13. Nine years from URBAN COWBOY to LOOK WHO'S TALKING, the latter of which, however cornball, was a huge hit. Then came PULP FICTION in '94, and Travolta was back on top all through the Nineties, with many hits like GET SHORTY and PRIMARY COLORS.
I'm not sure why his dry spell is considered so remarkable by so many, when almost all A-List actors experience the same.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 1, 2025 9:03 PM |
"Primary Colors" wasn't a hit, but I thought he was really good in that role.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 1, 2025 9:13 PM |
He and Didi should do You Light Up My After-Life.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 1, 2025 9:42 PM |
It’s a wig! Her hair’s as phony as she is!
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 1, 2025 10:17 PM |
Wig or no (he can afford a good transplant), he looks great for 71. Y'all should look so good.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 1, 2025 11:24 PM |
Think he took a cruise on th SS AI
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 1, 2025 11:34 PM |
Did he have his asshole "rejuvinated"?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 1, 2025 11:35 PM |
Who are the other cast members in this pic? I see Didi Conn. But the others are lost on me. Man they look old compared to John.
Is the 3rd guy Eugene? Is the guy on the far right the guy who drove the other car in the car race?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 1, 2025 11:57 PM |
I'm surprised by how good he can still look. The wig does a lot of it, but the weight loss and styling make him look nowhere near freakish, which is a big change for him.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 2, 2025 12:06 AM |
He’s had some good face work too.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 2, 2025 12:40 AM |
I would do him.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 2, 2025 12:46 AM |
The wig was part of the character. He looks amazing bald.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 2, 2025 12:49 AM |
He looks good. (Not the hair but that is for a role.)
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 2, 2025 12:50 AM |
He looks great for 71. I hope to look half as good as he does in another 10 years.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 2, 2025 1:08 AM |
Say what you will about Travolta and his fellow $cientologist Tom Cruise, they both have movie star charisma and understand their place in the collective memory of pop culture. What’s more, they both show an uncynical gratitude for their success to the audiences that made them stars.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 2, 2025 1:15 AM |
How many facelifts has he had?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 2, 2025 1:24 AM |
R28 - I agree with the first half of that paragraph - the second part, not so in agreement.
So what if men wear wigs? It's 2025 - most men look better with them. God knows 90% of the female actresses over 45 have some hair clips, extensions or other things.
I don't know why we get so worked up over it. Without the hair, he would look a lot older and it wouldn't be reminiscent of his original character.
Big deal - let men wear hair pieces. Our founding fathers sure as fuck didn't give a damn.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 2, 2025 1:28 AM |
He looks good!
Didi was in Overcompensating playing a grandmother with a potty mouth on an oxygen tank. It was weirdly unsettling for me.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | July 2, 2025 1:50 AM |
The R21 pic gives me chills. They're multiplying.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | July 2, 2025 5:35 AM |
He joined director Randal Kleiser, and cast members, Barry Pearl, Didi Conn, Kelly Ward and Michael Tucci.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | July 2, 2025 10:13 AM |
Ladies and gentlemen, Adele Dazeem!
by Anonymous | reply 34 | July 2, 2025 10:26 AM |
Why did I think Randal Kleiser had died?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 2, 2025 10:28 AM |
R21 I think the bald guy is the director, Randall Kleiser. Next to him is Barry Pearl, who played Doody, and the guy on the right is Kelly Ward, who played Putzie.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 2, 2025 10:29 AM |
R21 the actor who played the driver of the other car in the drag race dies of AIDS in 1994.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 2, 2025 10:36 AM |
I wonder if he has old man smell.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 2, 2025 10:49 AM |
R37 That guy was so sexy. I always wondered what had happened to him. Sorry to read this.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | July 2, 2025 11:29 AM |
If John wanted to look really good he should have invited Stockard.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 2, 2025 11:31 AM |
R39 Sexy?
Umm...
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 2, 2025 11:31 AM |
I saw PULP FICTION on its opening night at the big Cheri theater in Boston and I remember it being packed. When Travolta got up to dance with Uma Thurman, the audience started cheering. Just the anticipation of seeing him dance was exciting. He still has that charisma.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 2, 2025 12:13 PM |
Travolta looks better in his 70s then he did in his 50s and 60s. I don't know how he does it, but good for him ! Whatever he's doing looks great on him.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 2, 2025 12:16 PM |
I forgot about him being in Carrie. My goodness, he's been in SO many iconic movies. He really doesn't get half the acclaim that he deserves.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | July 2, 2025 12:16 PM |
R45 He was never exactly svelte.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | July 2, 2025 2:59 PM |
He's looking well, but the wig is doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | July 2, 2025 3:18 PM |
Does he have a new bf? Or is he just groping random masseurs?
by Anonymous | reply 48 | July 2, 2025 9:53 PM |
I thought he had found love with life-long bachelorette Kristin Davis?
by Anonymous | reply 49 | July 2, 2025 11:33 PM |
He’s definitely had work done
by Anonymous | reply 50 | July 3, 2025 12:04 AM |
I’d forgotten how funny Jan was. She still seems like the same sweet, bubbly, goofy character at r45, almost fifty years on.
