‘Olympo’ on Netflix

The Spanish young adult sports drama feels like Elite meets this forgotten and short-lived 90s series called PUSH. This is what I thought of while watching the show today.

It’s a bunch of young hot people into athletics and surrounded by drama.

Push was about hot college athletes competing to be the best and surrounded by drama (usually within their sport or colleagues). I was a kid while PUSH was on and loved it but it got canned by ABC after just 3 episodes due to low ratings. 8 episodes were filmed, 3 aired, 5 never aired, the rest of the season canceled and never filmed.

For over 20 years you could not find the first three episodes of PUSH anywhere online and very little info exists about it today (there used to be fan pages dedicated to it in the early aughts of the 00s internet). But now you can find the first two episodes, not episode 3, and the other 5 filmed have never seen the light of day and I wonder if they even still exist or are destroyed.

PUSH was the first time I ever saw Jason Behr and Jaime Presley. Scott Gurney was in it too but I didn’t even remember it was him when The Fluffer happened.

I remember Push. Too bad for what Scott Gurney looks like today, but he's probably got a lot of Duck Dynasty money

He was never hurting for money. He was from a well to do family and married a lawyer.
