Just because she’s not dead today it doesn’t mean she can’t be dead soon.

What do we think may have happened to Kristi, in order for her to turn out this way?

Was it horrible parenting?

I too, had horrible parenting, yet somehow managed to hang on to my empathy. I also happen to have family members who appeared to have better parenting than my own, yet present as persons completely out of touch with their empathy reserves.

I believe that the struggles & hardships I’ve encountered, for whatever reasons, always make me question why people become who they become, not to necessarily figure them out, but to attempt to understand why some very important variables and values are missing from their make up.

It’s really, really important that we attempt to understand the background of those whom we disagree with. In my observations, hard line & hardcore people are usually attempting to disassociate themselves from their painful upbringing, & become hard, in order to protect themselves from being hurt again.

I relate. I was a very loving & trusting person until I lived with my mom & her husband, as an adult. It was the ABSOLUTE worst choice I have ever made, in a lifetime of bad and good choices, because I was finally exposed to the horrifying reality of those I loved & trusted, because I finally understood that those whom I loved & trusted, were & are not good people.

It just totally shifts you into a place of constant doubt & hyper-vigilance, which I’m constantly challenging myself over, because I know that it’s no way to live.

Does Kristi project her own childhood onto others, and/or has she become the enemy towards those who love her the most?

I sincerely hope she figures it all out. I hope she gets to a place where she can simply, yet profoundly ask herself, “Why the fuck am I REALLY doing THIS?”

We don’t have to be horrible, just because horrible, and/or selfishness & ruthlessness is all we know. We should challenge our motives and actions on a daily basis, & strive to become the best version of us as we can become, & those who embrace humanity & empathy, are the strongest amongst us.

Good luck to this lady. I genuinely hope she has many moments of clarity, & I really hope she chooses to walk in the light, rather than in the darkness that unfortunately still plagues her, as of now.
