Fans of The Naked Gun are about to have a good year with the release of the full trailer for the new movie.
Akiva Schaffer helms the reboot feature that Paramount releases in theaters Aug. 1. Liam Neeson stars as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Police Squad legend Frank Drebin, played in the franchise’s previous projects by the late Leslie Nielsen. Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Liza Koshy, Cody Runnels and CCH Pounder round out the cast.

First trailer came out a couple months ago and was better. This new trailer proves “less is sometimes more”.
The only thing people will remember from either trailer though is the OJ joke, which is absolutely epic.

Maybe the full movie will win me over but so far I'm not feeling Liam Neeson in the role. Leslie Nielsen was so perfect with his deadpan delivery and just the slightest hint of a wink to the audience. The "man's laughter" joke was funny but I can imagine Nielsen delivering it so much better

1) The OJ bit
2) Pamela Anderson taking a seat
Other than that, I'm sorry, but you just can't improve on the original Naked Gun. It's like trying to remake Airplane.
