And who is the famous writer of whom you speak?
Which one of you fat whores wrote this article?

So he had sex with Edmund White and then White name-dropped he had a dinner date with Joyce Carol Oates. Big deal.

This is so self-promoting and in bad taste. That pic of the author is from 2009 - 16 years ago. WTF?
What an asshole - purposefully targeting a guy, making transparent statements so that we know who he was, then telling everyone about his hookup - for fucking WHAT?
I hate this 'writer'. Fuck him. No talent asshole who thought if he slept with someone he could get ahead - and then doesn't, so he makes the older guy seem like some sort of lecherous kinky old man.
How would he feel if someone did this to him?

The bigger revelation? That HuffPost still exists.

"I dodged predatory men who tried to slither into my life and trade their influence for sex."
Um - that's exactly what you did - you were a predator that went after a famous write to trade sex for influence.
This guy is legit crazy and an asshole.

He and Ed White were two of a kind. No surprise.

At any point of this, he could have said no and left. He didn’t.

Note that the author of the article is still preparing to publish his debut novel. So, his encounter with White was neither a successful transition in careerist terms nor inspiring in the sense of White’s artistic talents “rubbing off” on our feckless young man. And White, based on his own sometimes oversharing memoirs, does not appear to have been particularly good sexually. But it seems he would have sex with pretty much available man. He was an excellent writer and, by most accounts, a gregarious friend and mentor. Something the column’s author seems unlikely to claim for himself.

What is this vapid shit, OP? This dude's delusional. I also thought this kind of confessional tripe was from an earlier form of the internet. Or at least corralled down to NYTimes Modern Love pieces.
[quote] Yet, at this point with the literary icon, I also separated from my body: Did we look comical? Certainly, we wouldn’t look sexy. Perhaps I looked perfect, golden and beautiful against his large, sagging frame.

R10, I was just thinking, ugh, this gay is encroaching on neurotic, attention-seeking woman territory.

The preening, the posturing, the self regard, I get that. But honestly, all the endless processing? What the hell is he going for, the world's most tiresome lesbian?
