At Opening Night of Les Misérables at the Kennedy Center, Trump and Drag Artists Shared the House
he June 11 performance of Les Misérables at the Kennedy Center was a particularly eventful one. Trump attended the performance as a fundraiser for the Kennedy Center, which he unilaterally took over in February. In response, a number of cast members of the show chose to not perform.
Then at the performance itself, Trump was met with an equal amount of cheers and boos. One person was ushered out of the show midway after they shouted “Felon, you’re a convicted felon.” And in the audience was a contingent of drag performers, who attended as a form of protest against a president who has been actively working to curb rights for trans and nonbinary Americans, and banning drag performances and Pride events at the venue.

The drag queens and drag king who attended Les Miz were no strangers to the Kennedy Center—they're local performers, and some of them have performed at the institution before. "We're theoretically banned from performing any queer art in the Kennedy Center. And so just being there made it really seem like, you can't erase us," drag queen Mari Con Carne told Playbill June 12, the morning after the performance. "You can ban us from your stages, but you can't erase our presence from the venue. We'll always be there regardless." Mari Con Carne has performed at the Kennedy Center before; they also helped organize that March protest.

Of COURSE a bunch of drag queens have to make it about themselves!
Trump is just bothering trannies because it costs Democrats votes, he doesn't really care about gays and drags because we don't pack the same punch.
You're noisy, but not close to "heroes", so don't get confused...and you look like hell!

I'll always remember his reaction at one some sport event he went to during his first administration when the camera picked him up and his face was shown on the big screens to the crowd and the public started to boo him loudly. In a matter of seconds the smug smile on his face turned into a painful grimace and the pain on his face looked as it if was absolutely unbearable and then he started to have hiccups as if sobbing. Of course the camera cut off abruptly..
Meanwhile Melania was standing by his side and when she realized what was going on, she immediately looked the other way, the mask of the supportive loving wife fell off and she looked absolutely disgusted by him, she looked like she wanted to vomit.
It all happened in less than ten seconds but that's when I knew these two were just for show, that each of her appearance came with a hefty price tag and that the man had no core stable perception of self, and all his self-concept was based on outside adulation and whenever the outside outpour of admiration was denied to him, it was like an ego death to him. Sad.

There’s also video of a woman yelling “Trump’s a felon” when he enters the auditorium
