Trump ‘likely’ to push back July tariff deadline, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says

Trump is caving again! This is good news. We don't want Trump implementing the tariffs.

However, it shows that the name "TACO" (Trump Always Chickens Out) fits Trump perfectly.

The pause triggered a flurry of outreach from foreign leaders seeking to negotiate with the White House. But despite promises of “90 deals in 90 days,” the White House has since inked just one tentative agreement with the United Kingdom, with whom the U.S. already has a trade surplus.

Other talks have bogged down as countries haggle for better terms and relief from Trump’s “baseline” 10 percent tariff he imposed in April, as well other sector-specific duties on products like autos, steel and aluminum.

That's what is so disturbing. That the people in charge- Turd, Bibi, Xi, Un- all seem to have stopped maturing at age 14. Impulsive, bellicose, horny and naive.

I think even nincompoop Trump knows that tariffs are not working, but tariffs allow

1) market manipulation and

2) corrupt behavior; i.e. if you a billion or two of my meme cryptocoin, let's call it a deal.

It's all about accumulation of wealth and at the same time quite hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. Disgusting.

None of this is good news. It hurts the country financially and countries lose faith in dealing with the US. He’s just going to start it all up again later. He simply doesn’t care.
