Sleater-Kinney covering "Kids in America" on John Mulaney's Netflix show

I've always thought they were a dreadfully boring band—bland guitar riffs from Carrie Brownstein, and some of the most lifeless vocals I've ever heard in my life from Corin Tucker—but after seeing this, I feel they may be even worse than that. It's time to wrap it up, riot grrrrrrrrls.

That was worse than karaoke down at the VFW.

Op, I feel like you're description describes them NOW, but they WERE pretty dynamic in the late 90s. Far from lifeless and dull.

Dig Me Out, Hot Rock and All Hands on the Bad One don't have a bad song between them IMO.
