The Rialto Report did a two-part interview with Paul Thomas six years ago. He was an interesting person with a very bizarre career trajectory.

He came from a wealthy family and was a trained singer and actor. He was in the original production of "Hair" on Broadway, but eventually got fired after coming out on stage during the show's encore with a full erection. He also performed for many years in San Francisco's legendary "Beach Blanket Babylon."

In the interview, he was very candid about why his career in the mainstream didn't take off after "Jesus Christ Superstar." He said he was lazy and lacked the motivation and dedication to work hard and hustle.

He also talked about his fluid sexuality and how, in his youth, he'd go to movie theaters and give men blow jobs.
