Let's discuss George Michael's "Father Figure"

It suggests child/teen molestation, & while the song is excellent, its undertones should not be ignored.

George seemed to have an underlying message in most of songs if you take the time to listen. Freedom is a perfect example. “ I just hope you understand sometimes the clothes do not make the man.”

I SO wanted to meet my "father figure" because of that damn song. I was eleven or twelve when I first heard it and I just remember being really turned on by the lyric.

My favorite George Michael song is 'Jesus to a Child'. Don't be put off by the religion.

GM had a ton of good songs, but this is the one I re-listen to the most when I want to hear his voice.

Does anyone know of any more stripped down recordings of his? I know it was the style of pop music at the time but I feel like his songs were so over-produced.
