Victory for Blake and the New York Times

Don’t mess with Blake!

NYT:

A federal judge on Monday dismissed a lawsuit that the actor Justin Baldoni had filed against his former co-star Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as well as his defamation lawsuit against The New York Times.

Mr. Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Ms. Lively and Mr. Reynolds in January, accusing the Hollywood stars of trying to destroy his reputation by accusing him of sexual harassment and retaliation on the set of the film “It Ends With Us.” He also named their publicist, Leslie Sloane, and her company as defendants.

The feud was brought into the public eye after The Times published an article on Dec. 21, 2024, about Ms. Lively’s accusations. Ms. Lively filed a lawsuit against Mr. Baldoni 10 days later.

Mr. Baldoni sued The Times for $250 million in late December, arguing that the initial article had defamed him.

What in the fuck?! This is a travesty! Did Blake suck off the judge? Or did Ryan?

Blake honey, the public will hate you even more.

She dropped her lawsuit first.

Baldoni’s claims for defamation were dismissed with prejudice. Not good news for him.

Technically, she never said he sexually harassed her publicly, but when she filed the suit. And leaked it to the NYT, I guess. .

Freedman can amend 2 parts of the lawsuit-bring in new evidence (which he has).

Bryan Freedman is that good an attorney, mean as a junkyard dog.

If Baldoni had to sign over his house to Lively and go live in a homeless shelter, DLers would spin it in way that makes it seem like a giant setback for Lively and Reynolds. People on this site HATE that white bread B-lister.
