You know, I briefly took a look at the Dua Lipa concert on TV last night. And even though I saw her singing and watched the orchestra play, I was overwhelmed with the feeling that somehow, it was all an elaborate fake.

And yes, real live music like this has an energy and excitement that even the most choreographed, polished, theatrical performance cannot hope to match when it’s almost entirely pre-recorded.
