Does anyone watch doctor shows anymore?

I ask specifically about “Pulse” and “The Resident”.

by Anonymousreply 13June 7, 2025 7:18 PM

Nope, no one does.

hon, this is DL, at our age our lives are living episodes of 'doctor shows'

I like The Pitt. I lost interest in The Resident when Amy Abbott died. I hope Pulse returns for a second season. Xander (Colin Woodell) is magnificent.

Anyway, I guess someone still watches doctor shows.

[r-2] You made me laugh. Thank you.

[r-3]Emily Van Camp bit the big one? Oh no! I don’t think I can take all the Big Acting that will follow.

Altho that Matt Czuchry- what about him, eh?

Is he the cutest thing, or what?

I have never watched them until “The Pitt.” It was so highly recommended to me, I forced myself to watch it.

And I fucking love it!

But I’ve heard it’s the best one ever, so I doubt I’ll be watching more when I’m done with it.

I liked the NBC one from last fall with Zachary Quinto as a gay doctor.

I think it was called Brilliant Minds.

r4, lose the n-dash: r2 r3

by Anonymousreply 7June 7, 2025 4:48 AM

Um, didn't The Resident end several years ago?

by Anonymousreply 8June 7, 2025 4:50 AM

No. I've worked in the medical field my whole life so I don't need to see that bullshit on TV when I'm trying to relax. However, I did watch Season 2 of ER just to see Ron Eldard.

YES! I love Childrens Hospital (and yes, it does not have an apostrophe).

by Anonymousreply 10June 7, 2025 6:13 AM

The Pitt! Twice!

by Anonymousreply 11June 7, 2025 6:27 AM

Well duh - General Hopsital.

by Anonymousreply 12June 7, 2025 7:02 AM

"Doc," starring Molly Parker and uber-hot Jon Ecker, has become a guilty pleasure.
