He's alright - I like him - I just don't understand why he's in such high demand on so many shows. He has a speech impediment for crying out loud.

R1, his Q rating is through the roof, and he tests incredibly well with the core demographic of white women 25-54.

He's trying to avoid Ripa. There was a news story or maybe even a thread here reporting that GMA was moving downtown to the same facility where the Ripsuelos do their show.

I’m a pretty steady GMA viewer and already he’s got a pretty cake schedule. This news means I’ll be seeing even less of his fine ass? Not happy. Hot as I find him, I think he has a bit of a detached and cold air despite faking a jovial morning TV persona. I think he’s a closet case and that is why he is so guarded. Wishful thinking? Perhaps, but my antenna is up.

That show is so terrible. They have all these main anchor types standing around the set yakking about stupid stuff.

I used to go to an MRI place for 7:15 appointments and they would have GMA blaring in the waiting room and I would be praying for death.

I like him well enough. He's quite attractive and the tooth gap is cute. Bland really.

But he becomes a lot more dynamic and charismatic when he's a football commentator.

I haven't watched GMA in years. Do they still do real news stories or is it all entertainment/lifestyle fluff like Today?

Really SL? The lisp doesn't seem to interfere with what he is saying, at least to me. I get that it's a flaw for anyone in broadcast school though.

Decades ago the Anglos in Quebec were pissed off at hearing TV journalists with French accents. We got used to it because they sound like our neighbours and friends. Maybe I feel that broadened my acceptance.

However, radio would be a different story.

GMA seems to be prepping for a major overhaul. Robin is barely there as is, George seems extra bored and checked out and now this part-time Strahan business. They also moved their studio. I just hope Ginger Zee and Sam Champion are thrown out with the bath water too. They both grind my nerves. GMA does need a huge shake-up.
