Everyone apparently hated Matt Lauer

KGO, the local San Francisco affiliate, is home to the queen supreme of hated news anchors, Kristen Sze. For years, she's been wreaking havoc, icing out up and coming ingenues who might ultimately replace her and making life miserable for so many veteran broadcasters that they've have decided to leave the station altogether rather than put up with her cuntery.

I was working a special event that she was invited to last year, and when she arrived, she was all smiles and friendly as could be when she checked in. I thought, "She seems perfectly lovely. Maybe what everyone's saying about her is just a bunch of hooey."

Later, during the actual event, I observed her diva behavior - being demanding of the wait staff, dismissing her colleagues from other affiliates, refusing photographs with fans, and being an overall pain in the ass.

Now I get it.
