Are you all ready to celebrate all the people who have nothing to do with gay and lesbian identity? Trans people, theys, queers, septum piercing chicks...... I haven't checked lately but I'm sure there are a few new letters this year.
Gay Pride Month 2025 starts tomorrow!

Who was the first transgender composer? Dick Chopin.

Don't worry, I'll gay it up a little!

In 2025, most Republicans (but not most Dems or Independents) are still against gay marriage.
I'd focus on that, instead of the .5% of the population who identifies as non-binary or whatever

By this time there was Pride sponsorship all over the internet. This year there is nothing.

R5 - hood? That's typical suburbia with middle class kids acting tough. But that gay kid had POWER to flip that guy around.

Isn't it just called "Pride" now--to be fully inclusive?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 31, 2025 8:08 PM |
R7 I’m curious why the gay community is always expected to be “inclusive” of people who aren’t gay. This is not something that is expected of any other minority group.

R8, the term LGBT has been around since the 90s. If we could be inclusive of trans people and bisexuals back then, why can't we now?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 31, 2025 8:14 PM |
R9 I don’t recall transsexuals in the 90s taking over the entire community, nor do I remember them pushing for transitioning kids. Back then they just wanted to live their lives. I don’t know why they can’t do that now.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 31, 2025 8:16 PM |
Agreed R7/R8 - and it is just Pride now, so it's an open tent for everyone - including straights.
I don't know if that was a marketing thing to get more sponsorship years ago or the opening of the tent, or both.
It's still mainly gays and lesbians in the parade. I just don't find the crowds fun anymore.

R10, they make up .6% of the population and aren't taking over anything. I guarantee you there are way more gay people at the average Pride event than trans people. There are probably more straight fag hags at pride than trans people, too
Conservatives who complain about "kids transitioning" also complained about kids identifying as gay and taking same sex dates to the prom.

I can't wait to have sex on the street now!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 31, 2025 8:24 PM |
R12 I don’t know any gays who still go to Pride. Not one.

You’re sounding old, pussycat.

When I hear slightly older people call it "Pride" instead of "Gay Pride", I want to hurl.
They know better.

It’s June 1st, and my life hasn’t changed!

The circa 2015-invented fake Stonewall history is back in force!
"PRIDE began as a riot led by Black & Brown Trans Activists!" is screeched by queers in their 20s-30s all over social media!
Of course, other than being a riot (spontaneous uprising) NOTHING about this is true, but now that the vast majority of those actually there that night(s) are dead we can not challenge the rewriting of Gay History with Trans History! It is bizarre because decent first hand info is widely available, yet the more recent one's research material becomes, the more the insertion of "The Myth of Marsha" seems to become the main (fake) narrative. All photos from the night(s), although somewhat few, depict 95% gay white men, but we are told to pretend they never existed!

RIP
I am not familiar with this actor or this story. Is there a thread?
