Rosie slims down after 2.5 years on Mounjaro and breaks her silence

"I can't believe this is me now #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydismorphia" Rosie O'Donnell captions an image of her slimmer self on stage on Friday, May 23 -- two months after talking about her ongoing weight loss on the drug, which she said she's on for her diabetes, while also crediting home cooking, and more than two years since she first revealed her doctor had put her on both Mounjaro and Repatha in November 2022.

Hij-jus. Just absolutely hij-jus.

by Anonymousreply 1May 26, 2025 3:12 PM

Poor thing is only 63 and she looks like she's pushing 80. She lost all that weight and decided to completely give up on her appearance.

by Anonymousreply 2May 26, 2025 4:05 PM

Another one who looked better fat.

by Anonymousreply 3May 26, 2025 4:06 PM

^^^I agree. After a certain age, it adds 10 years at least.

by Anonymousreply 4May 26, 2025 4:12 PM

The Irish children are going to be scared of her! She's like the old lesbian that lived in a shoe!

by Anonymousreply 5May 26, 2025 4:16 PM

She looks like hammered shit

by Anonymousreply 6May 26, 2025 4:16 PM

Is Rosie a drinker?

by Anonymousreply 7May 27, 2025 1:11 AM

Bitch stole my act.

2.5 years seems like a long time.

by Anonymousreply 9May 27, 2025 1:40 AM

She'd look better if she bought some new clothes

by Anonymousreply 10May 27, 2025 1:44 AM

That’s where my white shirt went.

by Anonymousreply 11May 27, 2025 4:15 AM

People in their early 60s try one last attempt at being attractive. Then it's over.

by Anonymousreply 12May 27, 2025 4:17 AM

Shut your mouth, r12!!!

by Anonymousreply 13May 27, 2025 4:20 AM

Sorry, Tom: Lyle is my new cutie patootie!

by Anonymousreply 14May 27, 2025 4:37 AM

The Irish just don't age well

by Anonymousreply 15May 27, 2025 4:55 AM

She looks like shit. Like an aging 80 year old.

by Anonymousreply 16May 27, 2025 5:30 AM
Another one who looked better fat.

I was just about to post this. She now looks like film critic Jonathan Rosenbaum.

Am I crazy or does she look the same wight in both of OP’s photos?! Maybe it’s the shirt.

by Anonymousreply 18May 27, 2025 7:49 AM

In recent years, Rosie has looked fine and healthy. The emaciated look is not good on her frame.

by Anonymousreply 19May 27, 2025 8:11 AM

Gay men are certainly not all good looking, but it does seem to be a goal to try to look one's best. That is just not the case with most lesbians. I wouldn't say most are ugly, but they certainly don't go out of their way to make themselves attractive. Once my niece embraced being a lesbian, there was a big shift in her appearance. Then she decided to be non-binary (them/they) around her last year in college then after that, trans-masc (he/him or them/they). Definitely not a physically attractive person now, at least not conventionally. My mom (his grandma) always says "why does he go out of his way to look unattractive". While he is trans-masc, takes testosterone and had "chest surgery", he only seems to date other trans-masc. No one with a real penis and no feminine girls in a long time. He's not fat like Rosie because it just doesn't run in our family to get big like that. He does have a super fat "boyfriend", though (that's really a bio-women).

by Anonymousreply 20May 27, 2025 8:25 AM

She’s someone who needed to be on this for medical reasons. She’s diabetic, and she had a heart attack several years ago. She needed to be on a GLP1 regardless of whether she wanted to lose weight or not.

by Anonymousreply 21May 27, 2025 8:59 AM

Irish who live and grow old outside of Ireland do not age well. I think this is true for Northern Europeans generally. The sun really does much damage over the years, which doesn't happen if one stays put where it is often cloudy with long, dark winters. There is also not much of a beach culture, like the US or Australia. The only exception are those who spend too much holiday time in Spain, Italy, Greece, etc. The

Of course, if they drink, smoke and eat garbage, there is little hope no matter where they live.

by Anonymousreply 22May 27, 2025 4:48 PM

This will end in tears for her.

by Anonymousreply 23May 27, 2025 5:03 PM

R20 Lesbians are brainwashed into being ugly and rejecting their femininity. I don't know why. It's very strange and dysfunctional.

by Anonymousreply 24June 19, 2025 5:01 PM
I was just about to post this. She now looks like film critic Jonathan Rosenbaum.

Except she's not as pretty.

by Anonymousreply 25June 19, 2025 5:20 PM

As always, Rosie has to go on about this as if everyone else in the world can afford the expensive drugs she's taking (and which is even covered for her by health insurance as treatment for her diabetes even if she were not rich).

She has noted herself she is addicted to fame, and that it concerns her, but still she cannot shut up about herself.

by Anonymousreply 26June 19, 2025 5:30 PM

R24, you're an idiot.

There is no such thing as "masculinity" and "femininity." Gender roles are social constructs that people are expected to adhere to for some bizarre reason. Many lesbians choose not to do that, and I guess that means you think we're not "feminine."

I got news for you, son: if I'm wearing "men's" boots (which I always do, because my feet are wide and men's clothes are better quality), just by virtue of the fact that I'm a woman wearing them, they are "women's boots." And on and on.

This whole queer, non-binary, MTF, FTM, and whatever else bullshit is our society holding onto gender roles by their fingernails for dear life.

As usual, I thought we'd be waaaay past this by now.

If you were born with a vagina, you're a woman, and anything you do is "feminine" by definition. And vice versa. If you were born with a penis, the way you act is masculine no matter how anyone else chooses to define it.

Years ago, I saw myself on video for the first time. I always thought of myself as sort of a "sporty" lesbian, or at least, more butch than femme. I have had very short hair since I was in my 30s. The only time I've ever worn make-up is lipstick to job interviews years ago. I wear men's jeans and men's t-shirts and men's boots. I ride a motorcycle. I rode bicycles with a bicycle club, back when I was young and healthy. Yada yada yada.

But when I saw myself on video, there was no mistaking my femininity. The way I move, the expressions on my face, the way I talk... There was no denying it. I was never going to be the butch lesbian I thought I was. With no make-up, short hair, and wearing "men's" clothing, my real self shines through.

Trying to conform to gender roles is bullshit. It's 2025, FFS. Can't we just be who we are?

by Anonymousreply 27June 19, 2025 5:32 PM
While he is trans-masc, takes testosterone and had "chest surgery", he only seems to date other trans-masc.

You sound like you're apprehensive about this, whereas i would think, "Good for him." It stresses so many cis-men and cis-women out when trans people try to date them and get angry if they won't respond.

by Anonymousreply 28June 19, 2025 5:32 PM
There is no such thing as "masculinity" and "femininity." Gender roles are social constructs that people are expected to adhere to for some bizarre reason.

I'm not the person you're bitching out, but of course there [italic]are[/italic] such things.

Just because things are social constructs does not mean they can be magically dismissed with a wave of one's hand.

by Anonymousreply 29June 19, 2025 5:33 PM

Rosie O'Lesbo is and alway was a BULLY

I don't like Ellen DEGENERATE either

by Anonymousreply 30June 19, 2025 5:36 PM

R20- It sounds lke THEM/THEY could use a SHRINK.

by Anonymousreply 31June 19, 2025 6:08 PM

She’s got a great personality.

by Anonymousreply 32June 19, 2025 6:11 PM

No R27 you're an idiot, and an ugly one at that. If trying to confirm to gender roles is bullshit, then why do lesbians do the butch/femme thing all the time? Butches like yourself are usually attracted to feminine women, oh but wait! There's no such thing as femininity? Is that why you see lesbian weddings where one is wearing a tux and the other a wedding dress? Lesbians are the biggest conformists to gender roles ever. Hypocrite!

And it is not true that they are social contructs. Research on wild chimps by Swedish and American scientists have shown that male chimps like to play with toys for boys and female chimps with toys for girls. Only ugly butch radical feminists lesbians repeat endlessly what you wrote in your post. They can't accept their gender and their femininity was damaged, probably because of sexual abuse or some other reason and so they now think that gender and femininity (or masculinity) don't or shouldn't exist.

Go see a shrink butchie!

by Anonymousreply 33June 19, 2025 6:41 PM

Unfortunately, one cannot lessen “loud.”

by Anonymousreply 34June 20, 2025 1:58 AM

If she wants us to pay attention to her she needs a make over. Jesus Rosie get yourself together.

by Anonymousreply 35June 20, 2025 2:56 AM

She looks like a flat tire

by Anonymousreply 36June 20, 2025 3:43 AM

Rosie has always been a walking conflict. Wasn’t she molested by her dad after her mom died? I always got the impression that a lot of her weight during her younger career years was to put a “safe space” around her to protect herself. She always looked pretty with her hair and make up. Now that she is thin - maybe she is going super “plain” to keep that same space.

by Anonymousreply 37June 20, 2025 3:54 AM

R33 The fact that our closest primate relatives show gender preferences with toys is very interesting and does demonstrate that gender is actually more innate than social construct.

by Anonymousreply 40June 20, 2025 5:44 AM

I had a weird dream about Rosie. I was in Ireland trying to tell the Irish to join the Israel/Iran war because Ireland starts with an "I" too. Then I told them to use Rosie as a bomb.

by Anonymousreply 41June 21, 2025 4:04 PM

That was no dream, R41

by Anonymousreply 42June 21, 2025 4:18 PM

Rosie needs to stop going to Rudi Giuliani’s dentist.

by Anonymousreply 43June 21, 2025 4:35 PM

Bedraggled

by Anonymousreply 44June 21, 2025 4:59 PM

She had heart issues and weight problems her whole life - she needed to do this for her health.

And it's harder for women to lose weight - particularly post-menopause.

She probably has so much more freedom of movement and energy. Good for her.

She's never been the type to now go for a facelift, breast implants and hair extensions - although, not gonna lie - I would love to see what that would look like!

by Anonymousreply 45June 21, 2025 5:20 PM

Tee Hee Hee. I am hot standing next to her!

by Anonymousreply 46June 21, 2025 6:47 PM

Breaks her silence? She interviewed her doctor nearly two years ago — he explains a lot about the recent weight-loss drugs.
