The supremely creepy "Let's Scare Jessica to Death" (1971) is finally coming to 4K

Courtesy of Vinegar Syndrome. This is possibly my favorite horror film, so this is a major cause for celebration.

I already ordered. I have the existing Blu-ray by Scream Factory which is great, but any upgrade on this film is an immediate "take my money" situation. The limited edition package with the booklet looks amazing. I love the pink color choice.

I remember reading that when Zohra Lampert won her Emmy for Kojak, that she simply put the award and left the auditorium.

Zohra Lampert never really reached the fame she should have. She was a great actress with a quirky but relatable screen presence.

I love this movie! So underrated

I got my copy of this on 4K and watched it tonight. It is a truly stunning presentation of the film. 100% worth getting for anyone who is a fan.

Also featuring Gretchen Corbett in a minor (but spooky role). She was best known for the Rockford Files and did a lot of New York theater back in the day.

This thread is why I continue coming back to DL. I cannot wait to watch this over the weekend and would never have known about it. I love for this era of horror and storytelling. The announcer VO in the trailer is so if its time.

R8 enjoy. I think it's one of the best horror films of the '70s.

Gretchen Corbett is from one of the wealthiest old families in Portland, OR.

R10 true. She comes from a long line of prominent Oregon politicians and businesspeople. Old money, west coast style. The town of Corbett is named after her great-great grandfather.

I don’t remember it being that great.
