Shitty film all the way around. The fact it lasts 3 hours makes it even worse.

I recall when the movie came out, Entertainment Weekly, or one of the entertainment rags did a quick interview with the screenwriter. He said he didn't know how they managed to make the film three hours. His script was 125 page long.

You would have been better off watch the original, Death Takes A Holiday.

I burst out laughing in the theater when the obvious dummy of Brad Pitt is hit by a van at the beginning of the movie. All downhill from there.

I watched it for the first time a few months ago and liked it. It's the kind of feel-good drama that they no longer make. Everyone complaining about the length is right, it didn't need to be a solid 3 hours. Can't see myself ever rewatching it.

In 2017, Forlani revealed that she had "escaped" Harvey Weinstein five times, including twice in a hotel, and that she had had a "disgusting" experience with the producer.

She's continued to work, but very routine stuff.

I have watched a few times over the years. I like it, but it's just too long.

I love the location they used for that mansion and the estate. One of my favorite scenes comes towards the end when Marcia Gay Harden's character, who has longed for her father's approval through the entire film, is finally valdiated by him. She was outstanding in that scene (Hopkins was just as good too).

Isn't Jeffrey Tambor supposed to be gay?

Pitt was simply beautiful in this. But, yeah. It was a dud for sure.

I had this on vhs format. With no remote, I had to squat in front of the player fast-forwarding all the non-Brad content every time I watched.

I think this is the key to why this was three hours long because I recall while watching this dreck as a kid, a thought occurred to me – what if they made this whole movie around Brad being in his prime? But the lead just standing around pretty does not a movie make.

The scene where they make love is good because Pitts body was at its peak.

I didn’t care for his hair in this.

It too long, Pitt isn’t up to the challenge, but it’s still one I’ll watch every now and then. 90s nostalgia is powerful with us millennials.

He should have been a little more naked.
