They're making another Hunger Games movie: The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping

Set during the 50th Hunger Games with Haymitch the winner.

While I can take or leave another Hunger Games movie, I might just watch it because they've cast Jesse Plemons as a young Philip Seymour Hoffman, Plutarch, which I find to be intriguing.

The cast is insane.

Billy Porter has just been cast and my heart sank, but then I recalled that his character is an incompetent stylist and I thought, no, he’ll do fine.

My name better be above the title—or else, bitches!!!

I thought the last one (even though yes I know DL loathes Rachel Zegler) was surprisingly good! And author Suzanne Collins rules, and is explicitly making these stories as anti-fascist as possible -- she's the anti-Rowling. So I feel fine supporting these stories. Let the kids get some actual anti-fascist indoctrination!

- Glenn Close as a vain bitchy mentor who tries to look young!

- McKenna Grace as Type A Rich Bitch Tribute!

- Random Blond Aussie Joseph Zada as the young Woody Harrelson!

- Whitney Peak as his girlfriend!

- Kieran Culkin as the young Stanley Tucci!

- Elle Fanning as the young Elizabeth Banks!

- Jesse Plemons as the young Philip Seymour Hoffman!

- Ralph Fiennes as the young Donald Sutherland!

- Lili Taylor as the young Lynn Cohen!

- Maya Hawke as the young Amanda Plummer!

- Kelvin Harrison Jr as the young Jeffrey Wright!

Not all of them are dead ringers for the actors, but they sure as hell are good matches for the characters.

Also, Glenn and Billy are playing a divorced couple who hate each other.

That's quite a cast R4. This might be good. I'll definitely see it.

I loved the Hunger Games (both the books and movies) but I wasn't interested in The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

The latest book Sunrise On The Reaping is good; I like it nearly as much as my favourite in the series, Catching Fire.

I totally missed there was a 2023 hunger games.

Why not cast Kiefer?

R3, the anti-Rowlings are all residents of The Capitol.

They just don’t know it.

Too unreliably drunk my guess. Fiennes will be fine but he’s not the most exciting choice.
