Kathy Griffin Burns Another Bridge, Claims Stephen Colbert Made Her Cry from Ambush Interview

why is she settling scores like this, however. even if her account is accurate, what good does it do her? I like Kathy but she's all about the attention and in this new podcast she's heavy on the grievance and at her age it doesn't help create a positive feeling in spending time with her.

Well, at least she’s not throwing shots at Miss Cohen for once and calling him a cokehead.

To be fair, the overaction to the photograph was ridiculous and the comics and presenters who scolded her obviously hated her beforehand.

I dont trust what Kathy recounts about who here friends are or were. As well as everyone she claims to have become detractors. She told a story the other day about Pee Wee Herman who was described as a good friend but she played a clip in which Paul spoke to her in way I read as not a friend at all, a mere acquaintance at best.

I just watched it. I didn’t sense that Colbert was “ scolding” her.

However, he normally “ fawns “ over his guests , especially comedians, - lots of smiles laughter etc.

Not here . Kathy’s manic presentation was a little unnerving to me. She never stops talking.

She was obviously very tense and nervous and Colbert did nothing to help her out. I think she was wrong to go on a rant about how awful he was, cause he wasn’t. He just wasn’t very nice.

I like him much less after seeing this. I got the feeling that he thought the severed head shot was a bad idea, and what did she expect .

R8 - I actually watched a documentary about what happened to her afterwards. It was really scary. They had federal agents harassing her all the time, she got stopped in a lot of foreign airports, death threats to her mom in a nursing home and to the hospital where her sister was dying of cancer.

So apparently they did a lot of different shots with the photographer - and this was right after Trump made the comment about Megan Kelly bleeding from her ears or whatever he said that sounded like she was on her period. According to her, they thought - oh I wonder what he thinks about a pic of him bleeding from the ears.

The photographer ran the photo to Harvey Levin the next day - none of the other shots that they made. Harvey Levin is a Republican and Trump supporter.

Anyway - she could have explained all of this or did something but I don't recall that she did.

I'm on the fence - part of me wants me to believe her, but then she always sounds so personally aggrieved by everyone around her.

When her Bravo show became a hit and she started getting booked at huge venues, she made the mistake of thinking these A-list people were her friends.

The visit was heavily edited. And he still comes across as borderline hostile.

There was a TOTAL overreaction to the photo. I hope someday the original will be on full display at The Smithsonian.

The overreaction to the photo—I think a lot of it stemmed from jealousy. She was super successful for a long time before that

Colbert is a weird Catholic asshole.

The overreaction was hypocrisy. "They're eating the cats. They're eating the dogs. Good people, on both sides. Illegal aliens, From the asylums!" Liberals aren't allowed to be corrosive about conservatives but the opposite is fine.

Kathy is getting kookier by the second but Stephen Colbert isn't all that and should be taken down a couple of pegs.

Also put some booze in me, give us a hotel room and I'd be getting Kathy's clothes off faster than she can burn bridges in Hollywood.
