Occam's Razor.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 13, 2025 2:19 AM |
I thought he was born in the US?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 13, 2025 2:21 AM |
he is
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 13, 2025 2:31 AM |
They should have sent him to Gaza.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 13, 2025 2:40 AM |
Why, R4? What did he do wrong? Be specific.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 13, 2025 2:55 AM |
Apparently TSA is detaining even American citizens who post anti-Trump stuff on social media
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 13, 2025 3:17 AM |
R4 is fine with it. Wants them to go further even. "Send them to Gaza" says R4.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 13, 2025 3:20 AM |
R4 isn’t a fan of democracy
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 13, 2025 3:26 AM |
So weird that Trump’s goons are obsessed with the Israel- Palestine war. Why?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 13, 2025 3:32 AM |
It's red meat for their evangelical base who support Israel only because of New Testament prophecies related to the second coming, not because they love Jews, because they don't. It also gives them cover to be literal Nazis in every other way *except* targeting Jews. They're not targeting Jews of course, they're targeting brown people, which dovetails perfectly with "supporting Israel" because Israel is killing brown people.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 13, 2025 3:45 AM |
It's also an issue that tears apart the Democratic party's base and keeps that party in disarray. By taking a united stance on Israel, the GOP seems (to some) to contrast favorably with the Democrats internal divisions over Israel and Palestine. Republicans appear "strong and moral" (to their base and to Israel's supporters) while Dems look "weak and divided."
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 13, 2025 3:49 AM |
Has Hasan's uncle Cenk Uygur been detained yet?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 13, 2025 3:57 AM |
r12 The Biden Administration financed Israel's invasion of Gaza. If the Dems are divided it's because we have a large minority who oppose genocide. But both Dem and Rep establishments support Israel.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 13, 2025 4:07 AM |
AIPAC funds a lot of campaigns for both Democrats (usually moderate types) and Republican politicians who are pro-Israel.
AIPAC might help Haley Stevens win the Michigan senate seat in 2026. Abdul El-Sayed who is one of Stevens' opponents for the Dem nomination is too fucking dim to realize that he has already lost. If Stevens doesn't win it will probably be Mallory McMorrow getting the Dem nomination.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 13, 2025 4:17 AM |
You are correct R14, I was talking about the voters in each party's base.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 13, 2025 4:17 AM |
So weird that Trump’s goons are obsessed with the Israel- Palestine war. Why?
If the U.S. can prevent people involved with terrorism from entering the country, it may prevent an atrocity like what happened in Israel on 10/7 from occurring here. While not conclusive, pro-Palestinian sentiment could be a good marker for identifying people who should be scrutinized more closely.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 13, 2025 4:20 AM |
Polls already show that the majority of Americans now have an unfavorable view of Israel. What turns people off is the chaos they see on college campuses with performative rioting disguised as protesting.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 13, 2025 4:21 AM |
I’ve never seen performative rioting, just like Hasan has only blabbed about stuff online, nothing more serious than that
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 13, 2025 11:13 AM |
So HOT.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 13, 2025 11:24 AM |
TSA screens people and property who are boarding a plane that will fly in the US. CBP handles entry into the United States.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 13, 2025 11:28 AM |
Step 1: Ask if you are being detained or if you can leave.
Step 2: If you are being detained, demand a lawyer.
Step 3: STFU until your lawyer arrives.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 13, 2025 11:31 AM |
^^ bad advice, You don’t have a right to a lawyer during your interview.
If the officers’ questions become intrusive or improper, you should complain and ask to speak to a supervisor. (This goes for citizens, lawful permanent residents, or non-citizen visa holders and visitors.) Although CBP takes the position that you are not entitled to an attorney during primary and secondary inspection, we encourage you to have the telephone number of an attorney or legal services organization with you and ask to contact them if you feel your rights are being violated or if you have been detained for an unusually long period. For anyone attempting to enter the United States, if a customs officer or border agent informs you that you are under arrest, or if it becomes clear that he or she suspects you have committed a crime, you should ask to speak to a lawyer before answering any further questions — and if you wish to exercise your right to remain silent, you should say so out loud.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 13, 2025 11:50 AM |
seems outrageous to me
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 13, 2025 12:27 PM |
It is outrageous. But people like R17 accept it because they've been conditioned to live in a state of constant, irrational fear, while people like R4 cheer it on because they've been brainwashed to believe they're the "good guys" and anyone who isn't aligned with their agenda 100% is a "bad guy."
They and people just like them, in both parties, are why we are living like this now, and it's only going to get worse until more people start speaking up.

We don’t exactly have a “ Joe Rogan but he’s a leftist”… but Piker comes close. Huge social media following. Handsome, scrappy, sometimes insightful and sometimes flat out wrong. He’s fiercely pro Palestine and anti Zionist to the point of sidestepping and warping the truth about what Hamas is. He’s pro-Luigi. He politically supports whoever is closest to Bernie… except for the Jewish thing.
I disagree with him on Israel/Palestine, wish he’d be less relentless on that one issue and go after Trump and the oligarchs more broadly… but if you believe in a free and open public square of ideas and beliefs then you coexist with what emerges.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 13, 2025 12:54 PM |
I agree with him, and your assessment.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 13, 2025 12:57 PM |
Yes great advice above from what I will assume is a lawyer
every time I am ever stopped at a border coming back home and asked any questions I say no comment and call my lawyer who shows up in a few hours and sometimes sooner depending on traffic and of course where I am in the country and then the lawyer gets paid a shit load of money..
No more I am done I am a hard ass. They want to ask me questions including any about Trump posts I will answer them myself and I will blame those on someone named anonymous. I am cowardly and would never sign my name.
Great to see The Resistance at work.

Except if you’re a Saudi national, in which case you’re free to enter the United States and take as many “flying lessons” as you like.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 13, 2025 3:01 PM |
"People involved with terrorism" = "a college student who wrote an Op-Ed I disagree with while being a brown person."

Funny, let's apply this to America: While not conclusive, pro-Trump sentiment could be a good marker for identifying people who should be scrutinized more closely.
See how that works [italic]now,[/italic] MAGAt?

Hopefully, you’re for the border patrol now more diligently assessing people entering the country, to try to prevent that from happening again.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 13, 2025 3:22 PM |
Exactly
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 13, 2025 3:36 PM |
No Saudis are getting stopped by border control lol. They're invited here by Trump and co who roll the ted carpet out for them. They're the real terrorists behind 9/11.
Christ you sound dumb, r33. Your sock puppet at r34, too.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 13, 2025 3:45 PM |
I hate to say this but do we have an independent source on this? Bc this is, unfortunately, exactly the kind of thing Hasan would make up or exaggerate for attention.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 13, 2025 3:49 PM |
Almost all the 9/11 Saudi terrorist came into the US legally.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 13, 2025 3:52 PM |
Reminder that every one of the 9/11 attackers entered the country legally and only five had overstayed their visas.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 13, 2025 3:53 PM |
It’s the Benjamins.
The GOP, especially Trump, is obsessed with getting Jewish supporters because they have outsized wealth. Jews and Chinese-Americans are each about the same percentage of the US population —but you certainly don’t see Trump mentioning over and over that the Chinese must vote for him.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 13, 2025 3:56 PM |
Trump is setting up Jews, By disappearing of immigrants who support Palestinians in any way, searching social media for any hint of anti-Israel sentiment, defining colleges in the name of anti-Semitism, etc, Trump is basically blaming Jews for the need to flout the rule of law.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 13, 2025 3:58 PM |
Trump pardoned the "Camp Auschwitz" guy along with the other J6ers.
Any Jew who supports Trump is an idiot.

Trump's boyfriend Musk did a literal Nazi salute at the Inauguration.
Any Jew who supports Trump is an idiot.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 13, 2025 4:50 PM |
Trump is pro-the current Israeli government. It’s not the same as being pro-Jew. Remember him calling the Charlottesville terrorists who were marching around chanting “Jews will not replace us” very fine people?
Being pro-Israel (for now) is really a way to appeal to his Christian evangelical base since they have longstanding batshit beliefs about how Jews need to be in possession of Jerusalem for Armageddon to kick off.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 13, 2025 5:22 PM |
Clarification: SOME Jews who support Trump are just bad people who like seeing people they don't like suffer (aka Palestinians) while not caring if their fellow Jews are harmed, too.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | May 13, 2025 5:24 PM |
Does he have a history of lying r36? I don't know much about him.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | May 13, 2025 5:38 PM |
The Trump administration is busily testing out how much totalitarian bullshit they can get away with.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | May 13, 2025 5:43 PM |
Acting like this is somehow implausible when it's happening to multiple people reentering the country including regular non-famous citizens, is a bit weird.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | May 13, 2025 5:50 PM |
All the Orthodox are Trump supporters — because of Israel and because they themselves are right wing theocrats, especially when it comes to sexual politics and the role of women in society.

Hasan isn’t orthodox
by Anonymous | reply 49 | May 13, 2025 6:31 PM |
