Will all the technology now, shouldn’t they be able to finally find something concrete about her disappearance?
Do you think they’ll ever find Amelia Earhart’s plane?

I think she was mirdered and then buried in a hole. I seem to remember years ago an episode of “Unsolved Mysteries” (I think?) where they found pieces of her clothing near a pit where a witness later said that they had seen AE and her companion executed.

*murdered
I also just remembered that there was a reenactment of it on the “Unsolved Mysteries” episode with an actress playing Amelia and being blindfolded and then shot in the head over an already-dug grave which is burned into my memory for some reason.

Yes, but I hope they don't find it. It's nice to have a few unsolved mysteries in the modern day.

I thought she was eaten by crabs. And if her plane crashed it would be in pieces now fallen apart from age.

"A ghost of aviation, she was swallowed by the sky or by the sea." One of Joni's most beautiful songs.

She fell in the same black hole that swallowed the Malaysian Airlines flight.

I was sure someone had recently found her plane but then I read this. The artifacts from the island are fascinating.

OP, I don't know if anyone is looking. If she crashed in shark-infested waters, the plane would still exist. Interest seems to have died. I don't understand why Amelia's plane doesn't have some curious billionaire's fortune looking for it.

As a child of the 70s, Amelia Earhart's fate was a never-ending riddle to my generation. Others, like the Titanic and "DB Cooper," were also topics of many popular investigations (and conspiracy theories). The "mystery" of the Titanic is now conclusively resolved. The MH370 disappearance will eventually be solved, but probably not in my lifetime.

The picture shown in your link was taken in 1935, two years before her disappearance. The History Channel ended up looking like fools over it.

After multiple depictions of what happened, I feel like this most recent one based, on the transmissions and science included nailed it. (Love this channel by the way.)
There was some confusion with transmissions, she ran out of fuel and crashed in the sea. They'd have to know exactly where it happened and it has been decades.

Captain Janeway found her a long time ago (in the future?), but Amelia didn’t want to join the Voyager crew. But she is alive and well out there.

She was very brave, back then women flying a plane was just not done!

I would love a replica of her flight hat. I'd wear it, so cool looking.
