The NATO allies should simply threaten Russia with total obliteration if they don't end all aggression towards Ukraine- and withdraw from all occupied territories. That's the only "talks" needed.

Your proposal is interesting, but Nato will never do that so you will be disappointed. Why don't you also suggest that Nato obliterates Israel or Hamas, depending on your personal preference?

The death of Nato was always going to be the result of this war, r5, even though the aim of Biden and countries like the Baltics with the war was to strengthen Nato and make it the world power (Biden so he could then use Nato against China, the Baltics because it's part of their national identity to constantly pick fights with Russia).

Doesn't Zelenskyy think Putin is a war criminal and didn't he even sign a decree making it illegal for Ukraine to negotiate with Putin? Why does he want to meet in Istanbul, when that city is just a reminder of the negotiations that were being held there in 2022 until Zelenskyy chose to withdraw from them? The 2002 Istanbul deal was much more favourable for Ukraine than the one Zelenskyy will achieve now. Besides, didn't Zelenskyy want to fight till the end?

By the way, has Zelenskyy actually asked Putin to attend? I don't think either the US or the Turks, who will be brokering the negotiations have, so why is Zelenskyy inviting Putin to a third country via press release?
