Any dirt from the set of December Bride? I hear Spring Byington was quite the diva!

Lots of stories about Julianna, who is rumored to be a piece of work to deal with.
The story goes that Julianna was pissed when Panjabi won an Emmy the first season, and it went downhill from there. They hadn't filmed any scenes together in a while before the finale. A shame because her ego torpedoed a very good combination. The show wasn't the same when they ditched the Kalinda/Alicia partnership.
I'd love to know what Baranski thought of all of this, given that she went through a similar, but far less intense situation. Give Shepherd credit, it never got to a point where she refused to film scenes with Christine.
And then Julianna shaded the fuck out of Baranski's spinoff by saying they could never afford to pay her salary for her make a guest appearance because it was going to streaming.

I held out hope that Panjabi would have returned to 'The Good Fight' in some capacity.

Those characters worked so well together.
Did they ever have much of a back and forth about the feud or rumors about the feud over the years - like SJP and Kim C? I don't remember much but didn't really follow it?

You know who you *never* heard this shit about? Tyne and Sharon.

R3 isn’t quite right—Margulies said she was willing to guest star on The Good Fight (there was a script), but Paramount+ (then CBS All Access) offered her the regular guest-actor rate for a streaming service with fewer than 20m subscribers. To appear on a show that wouldn’t exist had it not been for her. Margulies, correctly, pointed out that if Kiefer Sutherland were to guest star on the 24 reboot, or Bryan Cranston on Better Call Saul, they would get paid. She always had complimentary things to say about The Good Fight, and she’s friends with Baranski, Josh Charles, and Alan Cumming.
Panjabi, meanwhile, basically stopped working in the US after The Good Wife. She works a lot in the UK, on shows that run 4 to 6 episodes. I had heard that Panjabi didn’t love the grind of a 22-episode network show, and would often show up to set unprepared, which pissed off Margulies.

Good grief, everyone interviewed is spinning their wheels like crazy.

Someone in the comments of that article wrote they wished Panjabi had guested on The Good Fight. Diane could’ve defended her after she was accused of killing her ex? husband.

Hi Julianna @r7

R7 gives what sounds like the most reasonable explanation of it all.

I did a Good Wife rewatch recently and it really holds up. I stopped at the season where she runs for SA because that last season (or two?) was terrible. None of it made sense.
