Do you know any people who have self-diagnosed with autism?

Do you think their diagnosis is accurate?

Well I do because I am a college prof and this is the new trend on campus for self involved people - they are self diagnosed "neurodivergent". They come to me and tell me their highly sparkle pony adjacent diagnosis and I ask them, "do you have the medical accommodation certificate"? Answer - no. They can present a medial diagnosis to a special office, and then their teachers get a message telling us how we must adapt to their sparkle pony needs. OK I'm being snarky. Obviously there are real issues among the medically confirmed cases. But some of those demands are outrageous and cannot be met.
