It was a terrible decision to set up a bar for them in the first place. A board game café or something else equally tragic would probably have been more successful.

How could a bar with such a surefire business plan fail?

Imagine all those mentally ill people just standing there, drinking Diet Coke and completely unable to make eye contact with anyone else. Then someone accidentally fails to use someone's made-up pronouns and the entire place erupts in a volcanic autistic meltdown. It really surprises me it failed.

He opened a bar for '"Q+" and nonbinaries' at a time when gay bars are closing and lesbian bars are nearly non-existent I guess he did his own research.

It will be bought and renamed Pink Pony Club, an accepting place for straight 'queer' women to hang out and bemoan their newfound minority underdog status.

Such a shock that a queer bar in the far reaches of bumfuck Portland was a flop. I mean, it's practically the burbs.
