Every time she’s on Bill Maher she acts like she’s drunk. She spends more time making bad jokes and attempting to be flirtatious than actually talking about issues. Why is she relevant?
Donna Brazile is a horrible guest
by Anonymous | reply 50 | May 13, 2025 10:06 PM |
I’m so sick of her Kentucky fried bullshit.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 10, 2025 5:46 AM |
People still watch Bill Maher?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 10, 2025 6:02 AM |
Bill enjoys being treated like he's hot. I think he brought her on this week because he needed to bask in some praise after all the criticism he got for dining with Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 10, 2025 6:06 AM |
Is she the one who gave Hilary the debate questions?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 10, 2025 6:07 AM |
She’s a good broad.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 10, 2025 6:08 AM |
Whom?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 10, 2025 6:14 AM |
OP I agree. The folksy, flirty schtick feels really forced.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 10, 2025 11:37 AM |
She's relevant? Appearing on Bill Maher?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 10, 2025 11:41 AM |
She is one of the Democrats who has weakened the party over decades. It is why people like Bill like to have her on. She is a totem of past failures.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 10, 2025 11:45 AM |
I totally agree. She's embarrassingly bad whenever she's on. She never has anything of substance to say and just comes off like a moron. I don't know why he keeps having her back.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 10, 2025 3:33 PM |
One thing about her though, she's always beautiful dressed, makeup, hair....very soigné.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 10, 2025 3:40 PM |
Also agree. Makes me wonder how she was ever useful or important to the Democrats.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 10, 2025 3:44 PM |
Didn’t she start to go down the DINO path at one point or something g close to it? I was disappointed.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 10, 2025 4:03 PM |
I always like her.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 10, 2025 4:06 PM |
I also like her and get so tired of the whole DINO/RINO thing. Donna Brazile is an old-school liberal who gets called a DINO because she doesn't fall into the nonsense wing of the Democratic party. I miss common-sense liberals the same way I miss common-sense Republicans. I miss the days when we had two functioning political parties.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 10, 2025 4:23 PM |
She's a big ole dyke.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 10, 2025 4:57 PM |
She’s not lebanese. She just hasn’t found the right man yet. lol
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 10, 2025 5:03 PM |
She is the partner of Muriel Bowser.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 10, 2025 5:08 PM |
Donna Brazile was once an out lesbian. Since she went back in, she has to be flirtatious with people like Bill Maher.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 10, 2025 5:12 PM |
I like her, too.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 10, 2025 5:20 PM |
Kelly! Kelly!
As a Christian woman, I understand persecution. But I will not sit here and be persecuted.
I'm not dodging. I don't play dodgeball, honey. I play basketball. And he tried to score on misinformation.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 10, 2025 5:44 PM |
Trust, Donna is not a nice woman.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 10, 2025 7:37 PM |
She's a handsome woman (good hair, good skin, good dress sense), basking in her butchness.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 10, 2025 7:40 PM |
“Go to hell, Ronna!”
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 10, 2025 8:12 PM |
Gumbo
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 10, 2025 11:15 PM |
R26 What is it with her and Gumbo?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 10, 2025 11:23 PM |
Not relevant since the 2000 election.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 10, 2025 11:26 PM |
Relevant enough, as an ABC analyst, to be a regular on This Week.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 10, 2025 11:32 PM |
I rode the Amtrak Acela with her and remember her as very sweet but a little daffy. She talked about her recipe for succotash and her friendship with Tucker Carlson. This was a long while ago, 2011.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 13, 2025 4:46 PM |
[quote]her friendship with Tucker Carlson
Of course she did.
None of these people are our friends but somehow they're all friends with each other.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 13, 2025 4:59 PM |
R2 More and more each week, so suck it up.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | May 13, 2025 5:01 PM |
R31, Tucker Carlson 2011 was most definitely not the later, MAGA, version. He hosted a show on MSNBC - produced by on-air regular Willie Geist - in the early aughts, & was very reasonable & engaging. He was even an early & staunch opponent of the Iraq War.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 13, 2025 5:10 PM |
STFU, R33. It's unreal that people like you still exist. "But our Nazi overlords acted nice 14 years ago! And we agreed on exactly one thing 22 years ago. That's gotta count for somethin'!"
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 13, 2025 5:14 PM |
This explains it all quite well for the Tucker Carlson apologists:
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 13, 2025 5:19 PM |
Context is your friend, R34 & 35. My post is wholly in response to R30's post about Donna Brazile being friends with Carlson in ... 2011. The execrable Trump-era Tucker was quite different when he hosted a primetime show on MSNBC. So I could see why the likes of Brazile & Geist once got on well with him then. And R35, I don't know why you offered the Nation piece to contradict my claim as - at least before the paywall took effect - I didn't see any reference to his position on the invasion of Iraq. As one who watched his MSNBC show, I can personally attest that he was a real time opponent of W's Iraq policy. A rare conservative - along with George Will & Pat Buchanan - who did not support the invasion.

I'm in the news business. I have a friend who works at Fox News in NY. He knows all the usual suspects quite well, has been with them in social situations as well as business. Speaking specifically about Carlson and Hannity he once told me that if you knew them in person you wouldn't recognize them from the assholes they portray themselves as on TV. My friend is not a Republican or conservative. I have heard this many times from other sources and other people as well, sometimes about alleged "progressives", that the part they play on TV (and it IS a part) doesn't necessarily reflect what they think or believe in. I have personally seen them break out of the role they play on the "news" when they cameras are off and become something completely different.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 13, 2025 6:12 PM |
That's not comforting at all, R37. That makes all of them much, much worse.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 13, 2025 6:19 PM |
Exactly r38. It's all a big game to these assholes, that unfortunately is destroying the country, but the what the hell? They're having fun.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 13, 2025 6:24 PM |

That would explain why Jeremy Peters & Ann Coulter are close buds. At least Ann isn't MAGA.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 13, 2025 6:25 PM |
And no-critical-thinking-skills types like R33 lap it up and spit it back out when it serves their delusions.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 13, 2025 6:27 PM |
Another has-been from decades ago keeping herself "relevant"
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 13, 2025 6:27 PM |
She’s a horrible PERSON, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 13, 2025 6:43 PM |
Donna is a horrible person as far as I'm concerned. I worked with her on the Dukakis campaign, and I was active with the DNC and she was a conniving, dishonest, disloyal person with absolutely no integrity or sense of loyalty. She was a real operator, and fulfilled all the worst impressions people have about politics. Total opportunist always out for #1. It amuses me to no end that she is somehow portrayed as some Sage /expert whose analyses matter.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | May 13, 2025 8:36 PM |
R9, brilliantly poetic...and accurate.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | May 13, 2025 8:39 PM |
The Tuckers of the world, don't believe half of the shit they say on TV. Look at their lives, where they live, who they socialize with. They aren't hanging out with the people who hang on their every word. I know many Tuckers, and they all think the MAGAs and the poor working class people who vote MAGA are morons. It's a grift.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | May 13, 2025 8:53 PM |
Isn't Donna a lez ?
by Anonymous | reply 47 | May 13, 2025 9:03 PM |
There are pundits whose opinions are of interest to me. She has never been one of them.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | May 13, 2025 9:35 PM |
Well she makes it easy r48, given that she always seems to be striving for mushy middle, no real opinion, other than the importance of faith, family and gumbo.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | May 13, 2025 9:38 PM |
I liked her better a few decades ago when she was a militant dyke. I took her more serious then. I lost all respect for her when she joined FOX News for a while.
