DL Fave Bradley James & DL Anti-Fave Alex Pettyfer Join Clive Owen In Historical Thriller ‘Kristallnacht’
Set on the brink of World War II in Berlin, the true story unfolds in a city turned into a powder keg after the assassination of a German attaché in Paris, which is wrongfully branded a “Jewish terrorist attack” by Nazi propaganda. Pettyfer plays Kai Lehmann, a young and impressionable police officer, who, alongside his superior Lieutenant Krützfeld, played by Owen, navigates the turbulent streets of Berlin as citizens turn violently against the perceived “enemy within,” descending on Jewish neighborhoods
Mélanie Laurent plays Krützfeld’s wife, Berta, who has to confront her own moral dilemma during the fateful night; Bradley James as ruthless chief of police Helldorf, and Steven Berkoff as Rabbi Goldstein.

Will there be male nudity?

German speakers don't even call it "Kristallnacht" anymore. The terminology was changed to "the November pogroms" some years ago.

That man-child Pettyfer is still playing "young and impressionable" types when he should be at the peak of his career and playing mature roles (at age 35). I suppose it's a miracle he's getting cast in anything at all. Turns out there ARE second, and third, chances in Hollywood.

DL as in hiding their gayness? Also, Bradley NEEDS to show us some skin ASAP. We're way past being owed that.

Ok I’ll bite, what’s the correct branding?

R8 I'm gonna use the word "hero". Herschel Grynzpan was the Luigi of his day.

Bradley, Alex and Clive? Look at all the pretty Nazis!
This whole production has “Pia Zadora IS Anne Frank” vibes to it.

Reminds me of the stellar Shining Through starring Don Johnson former face Melanie Griffith

Don’t give ideas to MAGAts. You know they never heard of the historical one.

R7, Bradley has shown lots of skin in many shirtless photo shoots.
But no, sadly he hasn't shown his ass.

What does Bradley’s ass look like (even if not nude)

I doubt it, R16. He’s had some long-term girlfriends who he keeps quiet about.

I think Pettyfer is considered anti-fave since it was pretty clear (even during his "prime") that he is a hopelessly boring white straight British dude with absolutely no gay rumours to dig in.

He’s an anti-fave because, despite his looks, he’s a cunt.

Wish Bradley WOULD show off his bare ass. It's pretty shapely.

None that I'm aware of [R24]

R16 & R17, yeah, the odds are Bradley is not gay considering his dating history, however, it's interesting that he is now in his early 40's and has not been married or had children. That seems to be more common now for straight guys.

It's always wise to give your already downbeat movie a title that few can spell, pronounce, or remember.

R15, Bradley has always had a big, muscular ass:

R17 Thank you. I wasn't aware of his dating history, as he doesn't seem to publicise it, which is fair enough.
I recently started to watch Merlin again. I know it's a bit silly, but it's easy to watch and Bradley is a handsome guy.
They could do another season. Maybe a reboot with Arthur as King of Camelot and Merlin as his lover. I know it technically 'ended', but they could do an alternative timeline. I know it's not gonna happen, though!

There was definitely something going on between Alex and Jules. And after it ended, Jules went full woo woo.

R2 no we say Reichskristallnacht or Kristallnacht. If news anchors for example say something else, that doesn't reflect what anyone actually says. I really hope the movie makes a serious effort to retrace the days around this horror.

R8 the alleged planned attack was taken as an excuse for progroms. It's even not entirely clear whether it wasn't a false flag they framed him with to begin with.
