Honestly, I'm going with unprofessional gate agents from this perspective. Traveller wasn't unhinged or pissy at all.

by Anonymousreply 1May 8, 2025 5:10 PM

I don’t understand what the problem is. Is he too late to check in?

by Anonymousreply 2May 8, 2025 6:36 PM

It's Frontier. You get what you pay for.

by Anonymousreply 3May 8, 2025 6:38 PM

Geez. This makes Spirit look like Qatar Airways.

by Anonymousreply 4May 8, 2025 6:39 PM

Has the new TSA Administrator been appointed? If not, we know who it won't be.

by Anonymousreply 5May 8, 2025 6:46 PM

Yeah, that seemed like a lot of bad attitude/customer service there on the part of ALL the gate agents.

However, there could have been a part BEFORE the filming where things when glaringly wrong and this was the only part that was shown.

by Anonymousreply 6May 8, 2025 6:57 PM

Clearly. They were all filming at that point, so clearly things had already gone on. We have no idea what.

by Anonymousreply 7May 8, 2025 7:04 PM

Both gate agents were terminated and the passenger was reimbursed by Frontier.

R8 Good! Now what about the old white agent at the other end who was just as rude and disrespectful?

by Anonymousreply 9May 8, 2025 7:09 PM

R8 So they weren't actually Frontier employees; they were contractors, and Frontier just terminated their contracts.

That just means these two bitches are free to go wreak havoc at another airline check-in counter.

by Anonymousreply 10May 8, 2025 7:11 PM

The only thing I want to go uppity is the aircraft.

by Anonymousreply 11May 8, 2025 7:29 PM

This had to have been at BWI

by Anonymousreply 12May 8, 2025 9:39 PM

Yeah, the guy in the green shirt who could have diffused the situation but didn't needs to go, too.

by Anonymousreply 13May 8, 2025 10:28 PM

Who was grandma and what was she doing behind the counter?

by Anonymousreply 14May 8, 2025 10:46 PM

The guy sounds like he’s near tears at the end.

by Anonymousreply 15May 8, 2025 10:53 PM

It was Raleigh-Durham airport R12.

by Anonymousreply 16May 8, 2025 11:07 PM

My favorite gate agent...

Reminds me of the Radio City Station post office.

by Anonymousreply 18May 8, 2025 11:22 PM

I'm going to withhold comment until Sunny Hostin discusses this on 'The View'.

by Anonymousreply 19May 8, 2025 11:52 PM

No need to even watch. It’s Frontier. .

The customer, obviously, received the “disrespectin.’”

by Anonymousreply 20May 8, 2025 11:58 PM

So, 2 hood rat crooks working for Frontier tried to fleece this guy for what was basically an illegal $25 bribe. I hope they enjoy their next career, burning burgers at Dairy Queen.

by Anonymousreply 21May 9, 2025 1:28 AM

I hate it when I have to deal with minimum wage blax.

by Anonymousreply 22May 9, 2025 1:31 AM

Diffused, R13? Do you have the faintest idea of what that word means?

by Anonymousreply 23May 9, 2025 2:18 AM

this why "karen" screams for a manager.the workers went rogue without direct supervision.

by Anonymousreply 24May 9, 2025 2:25 AM

the workers went rogue without direct supervision, this IS why "karen" screams for a MANAGER

by Anonymousreply 25May 9, 2025 2:31 AM

TBH, I haven't watched the video because I hate watching confrontations. However, I have read what transpired and I'm siding with the agents because I hate when people don't follow the rules. The passenger should have followed the rules before this moment and then it never would have happened.

by Anonymousreply 26May 9, 2025 2:51 AM

Shoot, I read the poll wrong. I thought it was asking who I sided with and I chose the agents.

by Anonymousreply 27May 9, 2025 2:53 AM

gate agents are terrors

by Anonymousreply 28May 9, 2025 2:57 AM

Can’t believe I sat through this, but, if he’s just checking in with 30min to spare before takeoff, that is indeed tight and it might or might not be too late per “the rules.” I have no idea.

But that gate agent should never have been given a customer service job. Her only skills appear to be insulting the customer, fomenting conflict, and power tripping.

by Anonymousreply 29May 11, 2025 11:40 PM

It means the green shirt guy could have crop-dusted the area, R23, and the ensuing diffusion would have neutralized all parties involved.

by Anonymousreply 30May 12, 2025 1:15 AM

You know they skip scan.

by Anonymousreply 31May 12, 2025 1:18 AM

[quote]if he’s just checking in with 30min to spare before takeoff, that is indeed tight and it might or might not be too late per “the rules.” I have no idea.

The check-in cutoff is one hour before the flight, which is why I side against the passenger.

"If you fail to check-in or to board your flight within the required time (check-in: 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time; boarding: 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time), your ticket will be deemed a No-Show Cancellation and cancelled. All subsequent flights, including return flights, on the itinerary, will also be treated as No-Show Cancellations. Please reference the Contract of Carriage for more details."

You guys are still flying? I can't decide whether you're brave or stupid.

by Anonymousreply 33May 12, 2025 1:44 AM

Remember when airline employees were attractive, adult and civilized?

These two should be at the McDonald's drive thru window where antisocial, Cluster B black behavior is expected.

by Anonymousreply 34May 12, 2025 2:33 AM

Frontier can’t even be bothered to employ and train their own employees. They go with contracted DEI hires to save a buck. What a garbage carrier.

by Anonymousreply 35May 12, 2025 12:13 PM

It seems like he’s already too late to check in since his flight is in 30 minutes. But all these hoodrats keep harping about is the $25 fee for agent assistance.
