[quote] necrotizing pancreatitis

Dunno who this guy was, but that sounds horrible.

by Anonymousreply 1May 3, 2025 6:56 PM

I didn't know who he was or that there was a Floribama show. Nevertheless, RIP. Terrible way to go.

Hadn't thought about that show in years, but just hours ago I was wondering whatever happened to a couple of the guys. Weird.

by Anonymousreply 3May 3, 2025 7:02 PM

He was so young. Terrible way to go.

Best known, or only known?

by Anonymousreply 8May 3, 2025 9:04 PM

On other social media, many say he was a nice, genuine guy.

by Anonymousreply 9May 3, 2025 9:18 PM

Oh, that's terrible. Not proud to admit I watched the show but he was always a sweetheart and the peacemaker in the group. Such a tragedy. RIP.

FTM?

by Anonymousreply 11May 3, 2025 10:27 PM

^ I wish I could delete - I made a bad comment that I regret.

by Anonymousreply 12May 3, 2025 10:29 PM

I first read this as "King Midas is Dead to Me."

by Anonymousreply 13May 3, 2025 10:34 PM

My uncle died from that. He wasn't a drinker it was just bad luck.

by Anonymousreply 14May 3, 2025 10:39 PM

R8 How does that matter to you ?

by Anonymousreply 15May 3, 2025 10:49 PM

How does this happen to such a young person?

by Anonymousreply 16May 3, 2025 10:51 PM

If you stop and think about it, what have we gained and what have we lost?

by Anonymousreply 17May 4, 2025 12:12 AM

R16 ask the dolphin—he sees all

by Anonymousreply 18May 4, 2025 4:21 AM

I'm sure it had nothing to do with drinking.

by Anonymousreply 19May 4, 2025 4:24 AM

I don't understand the reference, r18. I first thought it's alcohol-related, but then read r14. Who knows?

by Anonymousreply 20May 4, 2025 5:25 AM

My uncle had a gallstone, which blocked a bile duct. That caused pancreatitis. Unfortunately, this happened on Christmas morning, so the hospital was short staffed, which caused a delay in his treatment. So, bad luck.

R20 read the article at the People link —jeez

by Anonymousreply 22May 4, 2025 5:48 AM

That's a fair question about the question about the dolphin issue, r22, and I thank you for taking the time to type and correct me that I overlooked those beleaguered marine mammals.

I apologize, but my question stands about the death of a young man with acute necrotic pancreatitis, r22. It's as though you have no medical understanding of what "necrotic" means, but please do come back to us once you "do your own research."

by Anonymousreply 23May 4, 2025 6:28 AM

R23 has no understanding of humor or elementary sarcasm.

by Anonymousreply 24May 4, 2025 6:33 AM

What R2 said.

by Anonymousreply 25May 4, 2025 6:36 AM

That’s scary. How does that happen?

by Anonymousreply 26May 4, 2025 6:40 AM

A.I. says:

[quote] Necrotizing pancreatitis, a severe form of acute pancreatitis where pancreatic tissue dies, can lead to sepsis, a life-threatening condition resulting from an overreaction of the body's immune system to infection. Necrosis, or the death of tissue, can become infected, causing bacteria to spread to the bloodstream and trigger sepsis.

Entertainment Tonight did a story on his death...

I watched the show for the sexual tension between the bodybuilder & the guy with a mountain of hair.

by Anonymousreply 28May 4, 2025 8:41 AM

I got "Stuck" watching his show on one of those PlutoTV reality channels. He seemed like a nice guy.

by Anonymousreply 29May 4, 2025 10:00 AM

The show’s name gave me an STD through the screen.
