What was going on here?

Did anyone ever experience this kind of homophobia.. In highschool, a few teachers were out sick, so about 4 classes were ushered into the gym. As my class entered, last, all the kids were spread around the room at the walls, with the entire centre of the gym empty. This guy, accross the other side of the gym, was shouting things, in amongst the noisy teens pouring into the gym, like someone deranged, pacing back and forth, not acknowledging other people in the room; and his eyes were closed; and in trying to describe his behaviour to you now, its akin to a person ranting at the top of his voice on the streer, that weve all seen; while people ignore him. The thing is, he was shouting about Me. He was shouting Blank is a faggot, blank is a queer...youre a Homo..A HOMOOO. He didnt acknowledge my presence or look my way and he had been shouting it b4 i even entered. I felt sick to my stomach and so embarrassed...but to everyone else he was kinda ignored. I honestly dont think i had to even have been there for him to be shouting this. I hadnt ever spoken to him b4 or after. (He seemed like a guy who was destined for prison). I was an introvert. We had never spoken; i wasnt in any of his classes. We were rarely in the same space. The gym was noisy with 100 teen boys and he was just another noise....but there was no acknowledgement of my actual presence. .like he was ranting about some celebrity or footballer. What was this? This is fucking weird, right?
