I remember that by the time the Bad and Dangerous albums came out, watching him in music videos was disturbing. He has made some incredible music videos but I think that the videos for “Bad” and “Black or White” would have been better if he looked like he did on Off The Wall.
What would Michael Jackson’s career have been like if he had kept his original face and stayed away from the little boys?

In an alternate universe, he might’ve dated Luther and they might’ve eventually come out as a sexy silver couple to great adulation.

In an alternative universe, he wouldn't have raped, sexually assaulted and destroyed the lives of numerous little boys - we will never know how many.

R2 I thought he looked great in Black or White, he never looked better again.

I don't think it would have been that different. Wasn't he already in a steep creative decline by the early 90s? Maybe staying away from drugs would have helped him the most.

I meant that for OP.

The issue with Michael as an artist is he kept trying to recapture “Thriller” instead of evolving like Madonna and Prince did in the 90s. He never reinvented himself after the “Bad” album.
Him rejecting The Neptune songs was a big mistake. “Rock Your Body” was written for him and he said no and Justin Timberlake took it instead.

He was very talented but extremely fucked up. A shame.
