For all the doom and gloom, how bad is it really? The stock market is down then up but the bottom hasn’t fallen into a new Great Depression. There are still plenty of products on store shelves and the prices are pretty much the same level as they rose to under Biden, so the off again on again tariffs aren’t really doing anything either way. For all the handwringing over Musk and DOGE the country is still functioning and people are still getting their Social Security as always. Calling out elitism on college campuses and the annoyances of “woke” culture isn’t killing anyone, and 1000s of people who had no legal right to be here are gone. Calling Canada the 51st state and saying we should own Greenland is just good natured joshing, people have no sense of humor. There are some things he and his administration do and say that are a little ridiculous at times, but basically we’re surviving pretty darn well after 100 days. We all need to calm down and ride this out.
