When I first saw this same video earlier today I thought it was some amateur on Tiktok going for her 15 minutes. I had no idea it was Katy Perry and this was an actual concert.

She's clearly in on the joke, but the joke's not funny. It's like watching Republicans attempting comedy. Perry's thing was always kitchy "ironic" drag (usually of the vaguely culturally insensitive variety), but she doesn't realize that futurism/space-femme stopped being cool--Kanye West and Elon Musk killed it.

This production looks like a disaster. Katy either didn't learn any of the choreography and decided to just wing it, or she doesn't want to be there, or both. Between this, all the creative choices she made for her "143" album and her trip to space, she's obviously reached the point of being out of touch with reality.

Looking at the background dancer doing the same moves, it’s supposed to be be sharp and robotic (with the wide eyes) but she’s just sloppily doing it.

There's just no female pop singer I like today. I'm old though. Having grown up with the Wilson sisters, Pat Benatar, Martha Davis, Tina Turner, Debbie Harry, Olivia, Karen Carpenter, Melanie, Linda R, Kim Carnes, and lot of others, well is it any wonder I would hate someone like Katy?

I still like Madonna but I know she’s a bitch. I like Megan Thee Stallion but she’s not pop.
