Kennedy has offered no details on how his study will be different or what researchers will be involved. Leading autism organizations, such as the Autism Society of America, have not been included in discussions about the research, said ASA spokeswoman Kristyn Roth.

Verdict : vaccines cause autism. Don't even need a " study," because that's what he will conclude.

Kennedy in all likelihood is neurodivergent himself. Obviously the ADHD bias. But that’s all the Kennedy curse is: undiagnosed neurodivergence. The Bouviers had it too.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 11, 2025 11:43 AM |
Of course it will be vaccines

[quote]Kennedy has hired David Geier, a man who has repeatedly claimed a link between vaccines and autism, to lead the autism research effort. The hiring of Geier, who the state of Maryland found was practicing medicine on a child without a doctor’s license, was first reported by The Washington Post.
As usual, they only use "the best people".

There was absolutely no doubt that Biden then Harris would win the election

Kennedy suggested Wednesday that measles cases are inevitable in the United States because of ebbing immunity from vaccines — a notion doctors say is false. “We’re always going to have measles, no matter what happens, as the vaccine wanes very quickly,” Kennedy said.
Dr. Paul Offit, director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, said two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine offer lifelong protection.

What a fucking liar. Just a total liar - two doses of the MMR usually grant a person protection for LIFE.
Immunity against mumps may wane slightly over time, from person to person, but measles was basically eradicated here in this country for a long time, with only very few, localized outbreaks, mostly among the unvaccinated.

That worm really did a number on RJK Jr.'s brain:
"HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s visit to the FDA Friday was supposed to introduce him as a trusted leader to agency employees. It did anything but. Over the course of 40 minutes, Kennedy, in largely off-the-cuff remarks, asserted that the “Deep State” is real, referenced past CIA experiments on human mind control and accused the employees he was speaking to of becoming a “sock puppet” of the industries they regulate.
He touted his work for the Special Olympics but shocked several FDA employees when he said he spent 200 hours in high school working at the “Wassaic home for the retarded.” By the end of the event, billed as a welcome from the new commissioner, Marty Makary, several FDA staffers had walked out of the rooms where the speech was being broadcast at the agency’s headquarters in White Oak, Maryland.

The US had the world's preeminent system of research facilities, especially in the medical fields. Between DOGE's massive funding cuts, Trump's ideological blackmail of universities, and this fool's crackpottery, we've thrown that away in less than three months, just as surely as we've thrown away our national security advantage and our leadership of the global economy.

Mr. Maggot Brain with zero medical or scientific background will solve the autism problem in 6 months.
Scientific research on autism is believed to be caused by various factors, but evidence indicate that most of them appear to be the significant environmental factors we are exposed to daily. Such as the impact of a variety environmental toxins on both parents DNA in the years leading up to the pregnancy, the often advanced age of the parents, and additional environmental exposures from the time of the baby's conceptions, gestation, and it's early infancy years.

The environmental risk is exponentially with the various chemicals and toxins people are exposed to in their lives over the years. Also, parents having children at a more advanced age and feeding it processed foods from childbirth can only exacerbate the risks. Vaccines have been scientifically tested for decades and there is basically no evidence they cause autism.

I have no idea this was not my professional field but of things over the time of history we knew to be absolute true no doubt absolutely no doubt true then we found it was all bullshit.
A smart person is fully open to the fact that the things they know to be absolutely true today may be found to be misguided bull shit years from now. The true believers on any issue are not included.
I think it’s all going to be a clusterfuck but I m open to the possibility it might not all end that way. I hope for good things to happen and a shitload less autism. Autism which I read on DL impacts almost anyone you disagree with. Autistic and Nazi.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | May 9, 2025 11:05 AM |
R53, his vaccine policies are based on a rejection of germ theory and his notions about autism are based on a bogus study that was debunked and withdrawn years ago. He's not going to be "found right."

R54 in general and overall I do not wish for bad things to happen to our country or our people. Any of our people. So in that sense I hope he does somethings that we find out later were really good. Even if we think it’s nutty today.
I have hope but like all of DL I am clueless what the future will actually bring . On DL we are usually hoping or guessing and then being wrong ( Harris Walz for the win) .
