This does not look like a Final Destination movie.
Final Destination Bloodlines - Official Trailer

Are you joking? It literally looks EXACTLY like a Final Destination movie. (And a good one at that!)
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 25, 2025 5:08 PM |
I watched it yesterday and I think the actor with the penis piercing looks attractive
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 13, 2025 12:44 PM |
I love these Final Destination movies. They're always a bit of fun. I'll definitely watch this.

The trailer is way too revealing.
But I’ll be in line on opening day.
The last one, 5, may be my favorite.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 13, 2025 1:15 PM |
In line for what R4?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 13, 2025 2:26 PM |
Seeing it on Saturday.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 13, 2025 3:33 PM |
Saw it tonight.
That deaths were so extreme that it was hilarious!
Some pretty fun twists in this one and Tony Todd's farewell. It also explains his backstory.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 16, 2025 4:51 AM |
Really fun movie. The filmmakers came up with a creative way to reboot and energize the franchise, keeping it familiar yet fresh.
Great to see Tony Todd for the last time.
It’s got one of the best openings of all of them.
Even if you’re not caught up on all previous 5 films, you can still enjoy this as a standalone.
My IMAX theater at Century City 6pm tonight was practically sold out.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 16, 2025 5:09 AM |
Sounds fabulous! Can't wait till it comes out on streaming where normal people watch movies.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 16, 2025 5:13 AM |
It may not be art but it sure was a lot of fun. The opening is right up there with the bridge collapse and the highway pileup.
I was really skeptical about the bloodlines idea and having the disaster event occur decades earlier but I think the filmmakers pulled it off. There's just the right combination of gore and humor and I didn't expect it to be that hilarious.
The characters weren't the most memorable or interesting and I would've liked to have seen more shout-outs to the previous films. Still, this film is perfect for first time viewers as well as longtime fans of the franchise.
The Bludworth backstory is perfectly wrapped up. Tony Todd knocked his fitting and final monologue out of the park.
While it doesn't quite match the greatness of the first two films, it easily surpasses Final Destinations 3, 4, and 5.

It's a lot of fun, I'd rank it about in the middle. Great opening scene. But I'd say all the movies are about the same, quality-wise - if you like what they do then they all do it pretty much as good as any others. The fourth is generally considered the worst and there is a cheapness and meanness to it but I think it's fine. Nick Zano's ass crack makes it
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 16, 2025 5:00 PM |
Conservative estimates have it making anywhere between $30-50M. I think it could very well make $65M. My 10:00am IMAX screening was half full or nearly half full.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 16, 2025 5:15 PM |
Holy shit it’s hilarious and had me guessing pretty much the whole time. Things right now look pretty good for a seventh film and I hope they bring back AJ Cook.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 16, 2025 7:21 PM |
R13 AJ's cock???
R10 Sorry but nothing can surpass Final Destination 3 with the cute male main character
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 17, 2025 12:38 AM |
Yeah Ryan Merriman and Bobby Campo were cute leads.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 17, 2025 12:58 AM |
It’s a hit. Hands down best opening since Final Destination 2’s log truck accident.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 17, 2025 7:20 PM |
Just got back from seeing it. The opening scene was one of the best in the franchise, although the highway logging truck opening to the second one remains the greatest ever. Still, this one had some of the most brutal deaths in the franchise. The MRI machine scene was crazy (and probably implausible); the garbage truck death was gruesome. Tony Todd's send-off was handled perfectly; he looked so frail, but he still commanded the screen.
The only problem I had was the pacing was a little off at times. The second act could have used some tightening.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 18, 2025 12:05 AM |
Yeah it was way too long. Other than that, I thought it was a solid reboot of the franchise. I hate it when they fuck with the formula but I think the bloddlines twist was handled very well. I definitely didn't see the twist with Bludworth coming at all.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 18, 2025 12:54 AM |
I'm going to see it tonight!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 18, 2025 3:06 AM |
This looks good. I can’t wait. And this must be candyman’s final film.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 18, 2025 3:38 AM |
Feels like the whole wall map of obituaries that gets trotted out sets up more sequels if they just jump around in time - ones set in the 70s and 80s would be great. Also in the end credits they show a news clipping of a disaster at a waterpark and I’d love for that to be the opening of the next one. So many possibilities
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 18, 2025 3:44 AM |
I hope they go back to the original formula for the next one.

Loved the opening scene in the restaurant tower. Very tense and gory. Once it moved to the present and introduced the main cast the quality dropped a lot. The main final "girl" was a complete dud and looked way too old to be a college student. In scenes with her brother she looked more like his mom. Luckily the filmmakers seemed to realize this and quickly pivoted to more of an ensemble vibe focusing on the more interesting victim fodder. I thought tattoo guy was hideous but he was the most interesting character in the movie and got the best lines. His brother looked like a Corbin Fisher model but sadly never showed more than bare arms in a muscle slut shirt.
Even though I think the second movie is more entertaining overall, I'm a sucker for the plane crash premonition in the original. I have a fear of flying so that really got under my skin. I'm not sure why everyone is so hard on part 4. Super cute twinky leads (god bless Bobby Campo's cheekbones and Nick Zano's upper butt crack) and some fun gory death scenes. I guess the race track disaster isn't the most relatable compared to the other films' opening disasters. I prefer it to part 3 though not by much. Other than the ending that loops into the plane crash in the original and adorable Nicholas D'Agosto, I don't remember a lot about the fifth movie. I know it opened with a bridge disaster but even that doesn't stand out

Who are the hottest guys from the Final Destination franchise?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 18, 2025 6:06 AM |
Kerr Smith, Michael Landes, James Kirk, Ryan Merriman, Bobby Campo, Nick Zano, Nicholas D'Agosto, Miles Fisher and Owen Joyner.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 18, 2025 7:32 AM |
R25 and Richard Harmon? On instagram he has a gf but it looks like a pr beard.
Loved the opening scene in the restaurant tower. Very tense and gory.
Agreed!
The main final "girl" was a complete dud and looked way too old to be a college student. In scenes with her brother she looked more like his mom.
Agreed. I didn't feel sympathetic towards her situation like other final girls in the series.
I wish Tony Todd had been given more screen time.

I guess I'm in the minority because I didn't have that many issues with Stefani. I thought her reactions were perfectly reasonable. It did seem though that she had less to do as the film went on.
R4: I'm not saying the 4th film is the worst movie of all time but it is the least impressive addition in the series. The race track accident is the least plausible of all the premonitions. The CGI used, both in 4 and 5, looks cheap and fake. Also, Bobby Campo may be cute but can't act for shit.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 18, 2025 1:00 PM |
I would probably rank them 1, 2, 6, 5, 3, 4. A lot of people love the second one because of the log truck sequence but the first is still my favorite. It's the OG and there's no means of escape on an airplane.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 18, 2025 1:04 PM |
I think the bridge disaster in the fifth one is amazing! So many great moments - the woman being impaled on the boat mast, the boiling oil melting the guy's face off, the rebar going through Miles Fisher's face. The CG is a little wonky but it is in all of them and I don't mind it, it fits the cartoony nature of the movies.

They shouldn’t have put the series on hold for so long. It’s always done well particularly internationally. Anyway good for Warner Brothers. They haven’t had the best 2025 so far. Final Destination 7 notice anyday now.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | May 18, 2025 5:37 PM |
I didn't realize the last film was all the way back in 2011. Didn't seem like it had been quite that long.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 18, 2025 9:03 PM |
These movies seem to be good at casting lots of young hotties
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 19, 2025 5:00 PM |
R34: I didn't think anybody in this latest one was particularly attractive.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 19, 2025 6:40 PM |
Max Lloyd-Jones who playes the dude on the date in the opening scene is hot as fuck (although he has dark hair and is dressed conservatively)
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 19, 2025 9:17 PM |
Nicholas D'Agosto, the lead in 5, is adorable. He was also in Election.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 19, 2025 9:23 PM |
I didn't think anybody in this latest one was particularly attractive.
Owen Patrick Joyner is cute in a bland white boy way

r38 I liked the comment somewhere up above that he looks like a Corbin Fisher model - he 100% does
Anyway good for Warner Brothers. They haven’t had the best 2025 so far.
[bold]Sinners[/bold] and [bold]A Minecraft Movie[/bold] would indicate otherwise.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 20, 2025 3:39 PM |
The lead actress was not very engaging. I'm probably going to get cancelled now but her casting just screams DEI. She certainly wasn't hired for her looks or talent.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 20, 2025 4:25 PM |
R41 the other characters were more interesting than her.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 23, 2025 5:14 PM |
As someone who has a penis and nipple piercings, the MRI scene got me very squeamish 😅
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 25, 2025 6:02 AM |
Pity we don't get to see the penis
by Anonymous | reply 44 | May 25, 2025 8:04 AM |
A lot of Final Destination 2 references between the logs and how Kimberley (the lead from FD2) cheated Death.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | May 29, 2025 3:09 AM |
There is a newspaper article of Kimberly's and the hot police guy's death in the Final Destination 3, the alternative version where you get to choose the scenes during the film. You can see it at the end in the train. It was also planned, that you see these two in the train but they said, they had other stuff to film (which is dumb because it clearly didn't help their careers and appearing in FD3 again would have contributed to their careers more). R45
by Anonymous | reply 46 | May 30, 2025 2:56 PM |
R46: Bludworth pretty much confirmed that she's alive in Bloodlines. The newspaper article is considered non-canon. On the other hand, Wendy (the Final Destination 3 visionary) is indeed dead.
