Reading about her at length in the Mapplethorpe biography made me dislike her more. I saw her live decades ago. The audience went nuts over her. I think they saw her as something she never was. She only really ever had one decent song. Which Springsteen wrote. She just changed the words.

That's plain silly, R10. She did not have only ONE decent song. Her output has been limited, sure, but she had several excellent songs over the course of her career.
