He Man is kind of like the Hulk, he becomes gigantic when he needs to fight Skeletor or save somebody and then he goes on with his normal life as Prince Adam. Very simple concept.

Therefore He-Man doesn’t need to act. They could have hired a really tall bodybuilder. He-Man doesn’t even need to look exactly like Adam, because He-Man is a disguise and most people don’t know Adam is He-Man.

So they could have just hired a huge tall bodybuilder, or if they couldn’t find one they could have found a normal sized bodybuilder and used camera tricks or greenscreen to make him gigantic.
