This has been such big news recently that I'm curious how DL will respond.
Will you give up or lessen alcohol usage now that we're told even small amounts are dangerously carcinogenic?

At this point, what do I have to preserve?

Life would be unbearable without my nightly numbing-out.
And it's only going to get worse over the next four years.
If I live to 80, OK. If not, OK. Living without alcohol is not a quality life.

I was diagnosed with a tumor. I figured I could go back to Friday Morning Drinkypoos (I work midnights). The tumor grew 1.5 centimeters.
Oncology, surgeons, and the hospital doctor met with me about my binge drinking. Drinking feeds the tumor(s). I’m two weeks dry. I ended it with a good bottle of Rye, though.

I'm already full of microplastics, lead and who knows what crap. They can prize my booze out of my dead, cancer-riddled hands

I love getting drunk as hell on the weekend. It relaxes me. For this and other health regions I do need to cut down though. Weed is legal where I live do I’m going to try that instead of booze.

R4: is the tumor shrinking now that you're abstaining?
Enjoy what will soon be your return to full and perfect health.

Fuck no. Who wants to live to be old and infirm in this world? We’ll be put to sleep in a few years.
